    Probably be tough to get as many answers since it is Cuba which is tough to get to for you US guys but has anyone stayed here? Just booked a last minute deal for here... looks pretty awesome and got a great price. Just wondering about the resort itself, I have been to Cuba and loved it. Thanks

    never been to Varadero - been to the other side of the island a few times (Cayo Coco) and love it. Cuba has some of the best music in the world. Let us know how you liked the resort when you get back. I'm currently looking for a vacation deal.

    The embargo is ridiculous. End it. When the cubans can see what we have they'll do some good ol' overthrowing.

    Thanks sax, will do. I've done some research and been impressed.... anything to get out of this winter crap. And I agree cdm... although I have heard rumors that they are getting closer to ending it but I'm not sure.
