Skype technical question

    I have a new laptop and I was just talking on Skype on Sunday. Now it isn't working. I am trying to make a call now, and an error message pops up saying "problem with playback device." My mic and speakers seem to be on/working, but I don't know what is going on. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

    i was getting that too but when i restarted my computer it went away...so i guess no real advice here sides that :/
