I've posted a few things on Slim The Mobster before in OT but his 1st official street album 'War Music' was just released. Considering no one ever seems to release anything under Dr Dre or Aftermath (think Bishop Lamont, Hittman) this is probably a big deal. Being a mixtape though the DJ Whooo Kid shouting gets annoying and kinda kills some of the nice flow. Regardless this is a nice album for Slim The Mobster as he shows a lot of potential. One track titled 'Back Against the Wall' features Dr. Dre where he recites "guess who's back" and one of his biggest verses in a long time. One would assume next up is the mythical 'Detox' album which Dr. Dre never seems to want to release.....

Nothing special lyrically, but definitely had a nice West Coast Cali feel, and the beats were pretty dope.

Assuming Dre did some of them.
Was good enough that I downloaded the mixtape from datpiff. Liked the song with Snoop. He should just stick to guest spots, cause I love the dude, but he hasn't put a good complete album in 10+ years.
