  1. Just ranting here, the EMO is strong w/ this one, but fuck man--this shit is tilting.

    I honestly don't understand how a company as large as Comcast could fuck this up. They don't have some algorithm in their billing software that tells them "wait, we're about to charge this poor schmuck twice (PLUS AN EXTRA FUCKING DOLLAR)"?? Nah, fuck it, let's just see if they pay it. I mean, I've had multiple terrible customer service experiences with them. Considering how much I pay per month, the service is subpar. Then, this shit. FIOS isn't available in my complex and from what I've heard/read Broadstripe is just LOL, so I am stuck w/ this trashbag fuckers.

    Typically, I am one of the people who just pays the bill w/o looking at it, but I knew I had only ordered one movie On Demand last month and there was no way my bill was supposed to be $192--it's usually like $150-$160. I wonder how many people they get over on w/ this shit. I'm obv going to call and take care of it, but that will be a miserable 20 minute experience dealing w/ some fucking retard who can't either can't access my account or will tell me that this is somehow my fault. No bullshit, I wouldn't be complaining if their product was on point and their customer service was up to speed, but it's not and it's not. So GFY.

  2. Comcast customer service is much better nowadays, just be polite and I'm positive they will resolve your issue and maybe compensate you for the inconvenience if you ask.

    Edit- at the bottom of the bill you should see credit for sep billed HBO, Starz etc. I have Triple Play Bundle Pack-that is in process of switching from Comcast to XFinity. The bill is about 3 pages. So, check the last page/bottom for "credits". My bill is just like that. they add all the shit up, then subract it at the end. so ghey

  6. Comcast customer service is definitely the worst. When I moved into my house last summer it took 7 phone calls (that all last over half an hour) to finally get everything straightened away.
  7. by the way. Hot tip. If you call your cable company and tell them you have fallen on financial difficulties and are thinking you might need to cancel your cable...they will lower your monthly bill for a year. You can thank me later. :)

  10. Yea, so I just called and the customer service was actually WAAAAY better than before, not much quicker, but def better. I almost feel like douche for making this post, but nah, that shit was just awful before. Oh yeah, and they had charged me for it twice last month and I just paid for it, so I deserve it IMO. Service is still bad , but better CS goes a long way for me.

  14. in AZ, COX is the worst. they suck coxs. I pay extra for the "high speed power boost" interwebs, and that shit is terrible. All day in the commercials they talk about how fuckin fast it is, yet everyday I have connection issues while playing online. Also playing on xbox live can be slow as shit, disconnecting from games and stuff. Also during last year's baseball season, I had the MLB package which they broke into 4 payments on my bill. Well after I paid off the last month of it and there was like a week or two left before the playoffs, I moved across town. When they transferred my services and set up my new boxes, I didnt have access to the the MLB package, so I call them up (ususally talking to some robot and then on hold for like half hiour), and finally they are able to turn it on for me. Then over the next 4 months on every bill I had a charge for the MLB network and every month I had to call them up and be like wtf, i already paid for this stuff and you keep billing me. then it would be more holding until i could talk to someone higher up and they would say some lame excuse as to why it happened, and they didnt compensate shit besides not making me pay twice for it.

  16. I actually talked to Comcast today. Right now we have basic cable for $21, and economy internet for $26.95..total bill is around $56 after all taxes. We bought an antenna to get all the channels for free now, so I called them up to cancel the basic cable. They said since this is a "bundle", that if we cancel the cable, the economy internet would go up to $41.95 (plus $5 modem rental)...so 46.95 + taxes - almost what we are paying for both right now.

    So we're switching to AT&T DSL next week.

    Ive had both cox and comcast here and they are so equally shitty that they might as well be the same company.

  20. Comcast is a bunch of assclowns. i've spent far too many hours of my life on the phone with them and i dread moving time solely for the fact that i will have to deal with them once again. Specifically, we're paying for speed boost and up to 20 Mbps dl speed. during times of decent traffic(times any normal person is awake) we average about 4Mbps/sec dl. Of course they will do nothing about it because we are getting good signals through our cables and they don't guarantee their speeds. will be switching to Qwest after contract expires. Anyone agree this would be a good idea?

  24. i had an issue with my comcast bill and i was able to settle it via an online chat with a live person.... which was better than having to call. but yea.
