    and have a few questions for anyone that has one or has played a couple games....

    I immediatly bought NHL and NBA Live, i figure madden will be my next purchase.... What else is worth getting? I dont game that much but if im playing i usually like sports games or WW2 shooting type games that you can just jump into for abit without having to invest too much time trying to beat levels etc....

    Also, i plugged in my controller all night and its only charged to the second light, am I right to assume thats messed up? If theres anything else I need to know holler at me... thanks a lot... Off to my last exam and will be in the gaming scene for abit if anyone wants to play...

    GF got me a PS3 for christmas but I have to wait lol but I really only play sports games so I'll be on the scene in a week!

    The lights on the controllers, 1-4, are the designated controller numbers assigned to that controller, not a charge strength indicator.
    Push the middle PS button and the screen will show how much charge you have on that controller. It will be an outline battery image with 3 bars of power inside. Just like a cell phone.

I figure youre asking me this because i like to live vicariously through soldiers killing Nazis in WW2 games??? nah im not jewish i mainly like any shooting games just not crap like halo where you shoot lazers and pink floating balls......     No, I asked because why are you getting a PS3 a week before X-mas? (And I am being 100% sarcastic, as I have to hold myself back when X-mas shopping to buy stuff for ME, mostly because I'm a selfish bastard.)

    They should invent something for the Ps3 for shooters like the Wii has with the Wii Zapper. I'd sacrifice graphics over being able to acutally shoot with a gun and not press circle like people with playstations have had to do since 199whenever. Wii Zapper > Blu-Ray $60 games same shitty controller Graphics. What do you want, graphics or gameplay?

    Call of Duty 4 is maybe the one you want.

    There are not a lot of great games for the ps3 yet, people are still waiting for Grand Theft Auto IV, Final Fantasy XIII, and Metal Gear Solid IV. I'm not buying one until those games are released.

    MLB will be out in March. You sound exactly like my best friend. He has a PS2 and only plays MLB, NBA, Madden, and once in a blue moon a Medal of Honor or something. I always thought when the graphics got better maybe people would be more into RPG's, but it's actually the opposite.

    Def get COD 4 and Resistence Fall of man... You will be stuck in the house all winter. Trying to gauge mofos.

    COD 4 is super realistic, but shot gun blasting on resistence when some one comes around the corner is a blast. (with Chimera)

    As with all online games... get good fast or get used to utter humiliation for a long time.

    WarHawk is also a decent game. Just dl it from the ps store its cheaper.

    They have guns? Other then the shit for Time Crisis or wtf that game is. Arcade stye, where you shoot the bad guys and women and children pop up at random. I dont see the guns at the ps store. Link?

    Guitar hero and sports games are the only video games worth playing imo. I get bored with anything else.

    How come no one ever talks about PC games? Except for Warcraft maybe. The Witcher and Crysis are supposed to be a couple of the best games out right now but I don't recall seeing them mentioned anywhere. Has anyone played these and how are they?

    Thanks for all the responses guys, as for getting an XBOX 360 i probably would if i was actually a serious gamer (my buddy has left his at my house for the last week and ive only really put effort into the ping pong game, i know its sad)....... I also forgot to mention i used to like Resident Evil 2 and Twisted Metal 2, lol i know theyre both so old so i can only imagine how good the new versions would be

    bro the xbox is the way to go...the online service is bar none games like gears of war and halo make you wish you didnt' have any responsiblities sigh to bad i sold my xbox to play poker :(
