    Today is my first shift back after about a 4-5 year leave of absence. What are the popular weird drinks/shots that you kids are drinking nowadays, and how do I make them?

    I was actually thinking about going back to bartending next year when I'm on rotations, just for some extra cash.

    Let me know how this works out for you. It's been about 3 years since I've done it. Definitely miss the cash.

    I joined corporate America for a few years, but have been out of a job for a few months. I've mostly bartended in Baltimore, so its been hard to get a job in New York, especially since I don't have tits and apparently only busy New York bars count as experience. Finally got a couple shifts at my local bar, pretty excited about it.

    I always ask if they want a lime with a rum and coke drink.

    shot jamison w a little bit of butterscotch liquor serve it w a small slice of orange(u take the orange like a lime in a shot of tequila) its called a breakfast shot. taste like pancakes and syrup if its done right.

    johny red bombs which is basically cherry vodka and redbull but we call em johnny red kerrs where im from.

    a bartender friend has been ordering mini guiness lately. doesnt look appetizing, not sure whats in it (no guiness), but it tastes like coffee/chocolate milk.

    i don't squeeze fruit period either. bartenders/busboys/barbacks fingers are NANANAnasty fwiw! This is not an "all" of them deal, only takes one in a group of X to ruin this for the world...

    Since bars usually keep there bottles in three rows I always get the lotto 649.

    1/3 shot of the 6th bottle in on the top row, 1/3 shot from the 4th bottle in on the second row and 1/3 shot from the 9th bottle on the bottom row.

    Always makes for an interesting shot and you never know what you're gonna get
