    The good news is that the test, while important, will get outweighed by the final if I do better on it (which I obv will, because ill study my ass off for it)

    Also fulltilt is running wsop sats, its like christmas.

    Plattsburgh University... after this test I go to turning stone then St. Louis so just gotta get through this..

    WHICH BRINGS UP AN INTERESTING POINT....

    We have 3 tests over the year, I had this same teacher, class structured exactly same in terms of grading and tests.....

    So I got a 52 on my first test.. diddent really study.

    I had a similar problem with her in my old class, then I went to her for help and clarification and she helped alot.

    Anyways, we have three tests during the year and one final... the final is optional but it will replace any or ALL of grades from the 3 tests during the year. Why dont. Is there anything wrong with just blowing off this test? Im talking strategy wise... since if I do poorly on this one, which I for sure will, if I dont do good on the final I fail anyway- but if I do do well it replaces all the grades, what u guys think?

    It's usually better to take the test regardless if you think you're gonna bomb it because it shows that you were at least there. Let's say the final rolls around and you do just enough to get you a 79 or something. Well now, the prof will probably give you the extra point for the B just cause you showed some initiative.

    Anyway, it's never a good idea to miss an exam. GL at Turning Stone.

    what the hell I go to school for 3 years and havent even had an exam curved and you get this bullshit replacement grade. I picked the wrong school, is everywhere else like this too?

    Yea I mean morally its wrong, but strategy wise I think its not a bad idea. I will take the test anyway, maybe she will feel sorry when she sees I got a 30 lol.

    F school, so glad its over soon.

    I've never even heard of Plattsburgh University...WTF am I the only one?

    How many students are there? Are they known for specializing in a certain field or major?

    Its in upstate new york, part of the Suny Schools branch.

    We have like 8k students I believe, 60% female :)

    I believe their specialty is Business and Psychology, I am majoring in the latter.

    I think the women are ranked #1 in the nation. and the men are doing fairly well too I believe. Women were undefeated last I checked.
