    on a side note, elvis tried to mug me but i told him where to get some herion and he let me go.

    2) I think I like the texan. He was probably minding his own business, thug life comes up and starts talking to him looking for a friend, says "fuck texas" in what he thought was friendly banter, texan had enough and wasn't going to listen to him. Ya - find that guy and let him post instead.

    yeah i hear 5 points is cleaning up but its a big enough area to not quite feel comfortable at night for me even though my D.C. danger radar never stopped working (i go through there sometimes in the daytime) because i dont know where and where not to go, or where not to PARK, anywhere off the main two bar blocks is too sketchy for me to try imo.

    i was driving through the neighborhoods there recently in the day and noticed a HUGE difference from just a few years ago in ghettoness to liveability. there used to be a drug gang on every corner i would shortcut through, now i only see a few stragglers here and there. (maybe lil wayne runs them all now.)

    i guess the yuppies are pushing that direction and actually give a crap about cleaning up their yards. i wonder if they just get robbed constantly though, it does seems like another 2 blocks a year look much improved and the homeless seem less and less. (same thing happened in lodo where i lived.) i know when i moved to denver in 1999 that there was no fucking way i would even cross broadway at night, now i would possibly CONSIDER a drive through for a few blocks then leave.

    your story tells me i can wait longer.

    It was an attempted pull, but the bouncers tackled him before he could pull it out. Actually wasn't going to be directed at me either, it was the dude next to me who was hitting on the dude's ex. But I considered myself close enough to be a possible casualty...lol
