So, something out of the ordinary just happend to me a little while ago....(girl story/question with pics)

    About an hour ago I had just gotten back to my building, and I'm feelin pretty good because I just got through smoking with my friends, and I figure I'll just smoke a black while I'm out here. I sit on the stairs, spark it, hit it a couple of times, and I turn around and I see this girl walk by(see pics below). She looks at me and smiles, obv I smile back and turn around and think nothing of it. And then she walks back and asks me if I have anybody coming to let me in.

    **sidenote** after midnight on our campus all the doors in the dorms lock and you have to go to the front desk to get in.

    I tell her I don't and she's like "Aw, that sucks, I have to walk around." I tell her I'm sorry and that I was prob going to have to walk around too since it's so late. And then she says "Well, I'll sit with you then."

    At this point I'm thinkin this is pretty different. I'm pretty good with girls, but I'm not exactly the male model looking type. More like the unapproachable looking big black guy. Naturally I'm not used to being approached by girls(esp not like this), since I'm always the one initiating conversations.

    So she sits next to me(not right next to me, but closer than normal) and I ask her name, where she stays blah blah small talk ect. After about 5 min a girl walks out of the door and props it open so that we could get in. I expect her to go inside now cuz it's kinda cold and I'm not even close to being finished with the mild, but instead she just sat there talking and asking me questions. We talk for another 10 min or so until I ash it, but she just sat there and I'm not stupid enough to just walk away from her so I stay with her waiting for her to go inside.

    I end up talking to this girl for about another half hour(maybe 45 min total) about all kinds of shit. Music, sports, tv, and parties all the way to ex gfs/bfs and life back home and all the places she went to when she visited Chicago(where i'm from) until she finally gets cold and we go inside.

    I get in my room and I'm watching tv, checking OT/facebook ect and I see this girl has already facebooked me and has sent me a message saying that we talked about so much blah blah she hopes she sees me around.

    This type of shit doesnt happen to me. I feel "pursued" and I'm not really sure what course of action to take. I am pretty sure this can/should lead to boofing at some point, but I just don't know what exactly her strange behavior means. Is this a future friend/ potential boofbuddy, or is this more like a closet crazy girl looking for something to cling to?

    ummm promptly make a date with her. and by date i mean dinner, movie, then drinking and boinking obv. nah but seriously if theres a girl you can talk to a lot, is rather cute, and pursuing you... then well, it should be pretty easy. obv she likes you naturally so maybe dont overdo/overthink it and just be cool, but kind of aggressive back. def set up something for the near/immediate future though, shit should go naturally.

    She's not bad looking. Kind of a strange smile but ey, still okay. Touch situation though, my cling-on-alarm would probably be going off. She may even be on the rebound, in which case you could probably easily bang her, but the clinginess would definitely be very high if you did.

    Ok, sorry if you're offended by a female reply, that's not my intent. I think it is a "red flag" that she decided to facebook you so quickly. That said, I have this habit of just saying hi to whoever (at a baseball game, out shopping, walking my dog, etc.) and have met a few that way. I'd say go ahead and talk to her a little more, it's not going to take long to find out if you've got yourself a future friend or just a nut...(ie. if she facebooks/myspaces/calls you repeatedly without waiting for return contact this is a problem...).

    Oh yeah, about what course of action you should take:

    Play it cool. Go on letting her pursue you. If nothing develops in the next two weeks - meaning if she hasn't made an attempt to hang out with you - than try to invite her to a party or some kind of social event (but not out on a date).

    If she seems unwilling at that point or says she's "too busy" and overall doesn't respond to your courtship (<---- felt gay typing that) then drop her like a newborn baby.

    Another thing...

    if she was just one of those overly social, making new friends type of girls, she would have gotten up after the 5-minute mark when the other girl propped the door open. The fact that she stayed... well, that's how you know.
