    so i accidently clicked on 'soccer' on espn, and head page said some sort of coach had 'weeks' to prove himself until he's possibly fired. how the fuck is there any skill, besides possibly a motovator, in being a soccer coach? SOCCER is terrible and should be banned from every country in world.

    don't be a mutt bud. i didn't start this thread to start anything, i wanted to proven wrong. i do not see the skill in coaching soccer at all. 20ish skilled players on the field, (very skilled, don't get me wrong) and every single goal is almost pure luck or the bounce of a ball. with the big boys (world cup, whatever, etc) every score is 1-0, 2-0, 0-0, 2-1.

    will somebody tell me how to embed video's? so i can put some soccer goals on here, b/c OP couldn't do that if he took his whole family's athletic ability and put it together. Have you ever thought that people play defense and soccer is about strategy when to counter attack, when to play a certain line back, up, etc. when to have 2 forwards, when to have 3, how many defensive backs, play the sweeper? when to sub. OP i like you in general but this topic is dumb. Soccer is prolly 2nd behind basketball in who has the most athletes. these guys are so cordinated it's unreal. plz stop being ignorant just b/c USA doesn't make it the mainstream like football or baseball.

    i have respect for all sports. Fk the haters

    Im going to assume that the OP doesnt care. He has been brainwashed into thinking soccer is gay and I dont think he is going to change his mind any time soon.

    I kinda agrii with OP in that soccer is the sport that requires the least amount of coaching...obv compared to football, baseball, basketball. I think that's what makes it one of the better games. It's more fluid, creative, and improvisational than most others and completely the opposite of football and baseball where coaches play a huge role in the outcome.

    Rosenborg BK won the Norwegian league 13 years in a row, and started sucking really bad when the coach (Nils Arne Eggen) left.

    Clearly coaches play a pretty big role in soccer too.
