Can I put a regular sofa outside? If so what type would be best(cmon ladies of OT help me out here)
fwiw I live in a high rise in vegas with a small patio, so it could possibly get wet, but not much, and won't get very dirty.
basically the way I look at is a regular sofa(or a futon) is way cheaper than buying actual patio furniture + its more comfortable.
thanks! -
Slick brag about living in a high-rise and owning a sofa

Just like that king of the hill episode lol :D

Thats ghetto as hell.
If you ever drive through the ghetto, you see this.
My neighbors had a recliner out front their place. It lasted like a month. -
Good thought, but terrible idea if exposed to any elements....

so in other words, don't do it even tho I live in one of the driest places possible?

you would have to have it recovered with water resistant fabric - and it can't have a frame that is made out of compressed wood because that will also absorb moisture and deteriorate -
sofas cost too much, get a couch

I think it wouldnt be that bad as long as its under some sort of roof. You live in vegas so it wont be too bad.
If I were you, i prolly would of done it already. -
Inflattable Sofa...

I put a regular TV outside and everybody said it would bite the dust and it lasted for 2 years.

Hell yea you can. All the rednecks where I live put sofas on their porch.
