    This rant is right on and describes well my thoughts on this presidency. I normally vote Dem. Voted for Obama. He just hasn't shown leadership through his term.

    He had congress for the first two years and it was wasted with Reid and Pelosi arguing over who had the bigger balls. No leadership from Obama to align the Dems and get shit done. They blew their load on the healthcare reform that's a clusterfuck.

    Now he lost congress and they won't ever pass anything he proposes. Even so, he could be out in front championing ideas, putting the critical eyes of the public back on Congress. Instead shit happens and he meanders along. This debt supercommittee is about to fuck up. Why isn't he out there with a reasonable package to cut the debt by 2-3T? They can't agree on how to get 1.2 so lay out the plan to hit a home run. Get all the Dems working together and appeal to the independents with simple, reasonable, but strong improvements for the economy.

    I am disappoint.

    What Matthews and other talk show hosts should be doing is telling the public that the problem with this country cannot be fixed from the top down.

    We cannot point at the president or the Congressmen first...hell we cannot even point at our state congressmen first...this shit has do be fixed from the foundation up. People need to start changes at the local level.....we need competent mayors is our major cities instead of a bunch of crooks who try to benefit themselves first. We need local businessmen and people to invest in those who will not turn a blind at to the public when running for a city office.

    All this president and congressment bullshit is just that....bullshit. These people are are on or well on there way to the dark side and offer the public very little if any hope.

    We need to start fresh from the ground up. Vote Donald Duck cause an imaginary figure will do just as well as the next president

    Local level politics won't change in most places because of how solid left or right the electorate is. For example, look at some of the cities in South LA. The people continue to elect corrupt politicians on the local level and continue to elect dumb people like Maxine Waters. They vote for the same dumbfucks over and over and then they're shocked when things remain the same. The same could be said for GOP areas in the South. If areas are certain Dem or GOP strongholds, then those areas and votes are taken for granted by politicians.
