2+2 = 4
2x2 = 4
WTF is that? Please explain in the form of a hypothesis. -
3 people get a hotel room for $30. As they are going to their room the hotel manager realized that he made an error and the room only costs $25. He gives one of the bellboys $5 and sends him up to the room to give to the 3 people. On the way up the bellboy realizes that 3 people can't split $5 so he pockets $2 and when he gets to the room he gives the 3 people $3 to split evenly.
So the people had originally each paid $10 for the $30 room but now have each gotten $1 back. So essentially they each paid $9 for the room.
$9 x 3 = $27
The bellboy pocketed $2
$27 + $2 = $29
Where'd the other $1 go? -
Threeven bets dpottz that he can correctly predict the score of the baseball game before it starts. Dpottz agrees, but loses the bet. Why did dpottz lose the bet?

the correct riddle is:
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck would while stoned? -
There are two pathways you can go. Each has someone standing in front of the pathway. One pathway leads to the town of liars and the other the town of people who always tell the truth. If one of the people standing in front of a pathway to the town that always lies always lies and the one standing in front of the town that always tells the truth always tells the truth, what question can you ask them about where the pathway leads that will let you know which pathway leads to which town.
-
you didnt say predict the score correctly, you just said predict the score... pretty easy bet to win
-
How about someone tries to solve my riddle?
-
Ask them which path leads to their house. The guy telling the truth will obv point towards his house..and the liar will point away from his house. Whichever way they both point is the town that always tells the truth.
