    There needs to be more of these built -there are only a few in the Chicago area.

    We just got back from one for lunch...I had a couple of the Frito's Chili Cheese Wraps, and a Banana Cream Pie Shake. And the Xtra Long Chili Cheese Coney's are sfdelicious.

    I highly recommend for those who have never had it before.

    meh we have em on ery block here . . . and for the most part, they suck. my fav hungover drink is a route 44 limeade tho. and tots own.

    When I think of food in Chicago, Sonic Drive-Ins do not come to mind.

    They have good drinks there, but everything else is overrated.

    I'd rather go to a real drive-in and get good food.

    cold fry percentage is like 75%

    i like the chicken club but that's an extremely high cold fry %

    mmmm sonic...good times. My gf refuses to go there tho, because right after the last time we went, she got into an accident.

    wow...didn't expect that many negative reactions. I guess it's still a novelty out here, cause I thought it tasted really good.

    In the Chicago area we have Portillo's, Culver's, Carson's Ribs, and Brown's Chicken. Sonic would clearly be a waste of space.

    What we do need are more Fazoli's. I would also ask for an In & Out Burger but I know that's too wishful.

    i drove like 30 mi to go to one for the first time and it just wasn't worth it. Burger was pretty great, but the fires sucked, so obv not worth it(even without the drive)

    I liked their fries. The fact that they cut the fries fresh right in front of you makes them seem tastier than they probably are. The burger always makes it worthwhile, though.

    I think Sonic is absolutely horrible. The coneys and drinks are the only things worth ordering... ordering fries or tots there is a waste of money. They're usually cold and ALWAYS taste like they were fried in pancake syrup or something... ralph

    This thread has inspired me to go to In-N-Out right now. Double-double w/ grilled onions and fries well-done will be my order.
