    "
A Washington man is facing felony drug charges after he was busted smuggling pot disguised as Christmas presents across state lines

Palmer's two sons, 14 and 12, were also arrested for not coming clean about their dad's dopey ruse.
The boys were charged with frequenting, according to the Press"

    really?
  2. Since when is "frequenting" a crime? Guess everything's fair game in the War on Drugs*.

thank you. it's like speeding when you're drunk driving.
  10. big fucking deal. Good for him.
  11. No one should be imprisoned for pot. He should have a fine at best. NY is a bad place to get busted for pot.
  12. Between school zones, park zones, drug free projects and stiff penalties for crossing state lines, where is a motherfucker supposed to hustle round here?
  13. What a fucking idiot. Now what am I supposed to do?

I think I'd rather get busted in NY State than Oklahoma, based off of Daize's TR.
  19. It was a small amount under 3.5 grams. But the State Troopers were like Nazis over the whole ordeal. First off they pulled over the truck he was in because they said it looked like he was rolling a joint. My buddy had a hitter box on him and was never smoking during the trip. He was actually looking at a map at the time they passed the cop. Apparently looking down at a map resembles rolling a joint when youre driving at 55-60 mph by a cop sitting on the side of the road. If I recall the charge was thrown out but it cost him some decent money for a lawyer and he lost his job over the charge since he was on company time when this happened.

He lost his job, had to travel back to NY a couple of times for court, charge got dropped but still cost him a lot of money...his life has never been the same since then, he never got back on his feet as solid as before
