Who's been watching? I have been into this show from the beginning. Great show, I believe the last episode jumped the shark a tad with the bag of heads/head in the chili thing. I have been a little disappointed with how the show has moved along. It seems like something dramatic happens, then they tend to move along without finalizing it. For instance, Tig killing Opie's wife. Granted this was by mistake, but the hit was put out on Opie. They never really came full circle with this. I am not saying that Opie should have been told, because that would lead us to where they are eventually going anyway, just way sooner than they wanted. But they could have at least made it to where there was some doubt in Jax/Opie's mind as to exactly what happened. They just let it go and moved on.
The show is obviously winding down and we all see where it's going. The club is going to find out Clay killed JT, Piney, tried to kill Opie, etc. They will turn on each other and all hell will break loose. Still love the show, just wish it would tackle the main issues a little more. -
I thought the heads in the chilli was awesome ftr I saw it coming
clay is a douche bag of epic proportions -
I didn't mind it, just a little over the top. The gun fight scenes are as well. Jax is seriously going to chase down a car full of thugs on his bike with just a pistol in his hand while they all had sub-machine guns? Why didn't they just slam on their brakes and take him out?

You had to know Piney was going to get killed ... now I just want to know if Ope kills Clay or Jax does it. Should be crazy rest of the season.

I thought something similar at another part of the show, but can't remember which one it was. The writers seem to get lazy at times and throw out shocking twists' more often than necessary. I really like the show, but it is not Breaking Bad quality, which was what I'd been expecting. The cohesiveness of the club is definitely waning, but I am surprised at the level of deception and double-crossing that these guys exhibit in one scene, only to move to the next scene where they're trying to show us this unbreakable bond stronger than anything else in their lives, willing to put their lives on the lines for one another. Most of the characters seem incredibly naive which hurts the shows appeal.

Wasn't opies wife being targeted settled when he kills the fbi lady? He knows the club targeted him but they had to because of the lady making it look like he was ratting. Opie realizes its the agents fault not the clubs.
-
Yes but it still doesn't excuse the fact that Clay told everybody that Opie was in the clear, then went behind their back and put the hit on him anyway. I guess Clay still tried to stop it, but was too late. Regardless, they killed his wife.

doesn't the whole club know exactly what happened? they did just let it go and move on for like 3 season now. I don't get that either. The show definitely lets things play out conveniently for the writers in a lot of ways.

I put the show in the same camp as Dexter now. There's a lot of annoying and ridiculous stuff going on. There's also a lot of really entertaining stuff and I try to just focus on that and not ruin it for myself. Season 2 was fantastic, though. -
basically what op said.
the show is still good, but i feel like they could be doing much betterwith it
they really fucked up the writing over the past few seasons because i dont know if this makes it to a 6th season now (i was expecting it to end after 6) -
it's the highest rated show on FX. It goes as many seasons as they want it to. Sutter has always said 7 seasons was his plan. It probably would be a better series with less seasons, though.

Pretty sure only Tig and Clay know for sure. I am sure Piney suspected something was up. Like someone above said, the club members are portrayed as way too naive at times. Just look at this Piney killing. Clay is going to make it seem like the Cartel killed him or whatever. The club is going to believe him, with maybe Opie/Jax/Jemma/Bobby the only ones who suspect somethings fishy. -
I'm positive that Piney, Opie, and Jax all know that Tig killed Donna on Clay's orders. I remember the scene where Piney shoots at Clay in the clubhouse to protect Opie from doing it and getting killed/going to jail. Not sure about the rest of the club, but I assume they know it as well. Which makes it even more egregious that they just dropped it.

Jax will eventually kill Clay, no question
