I'd get in on this now and be one of the first to join. It's going to be like Grooveshark but better.
I've been saying it needs to be this way for years, but the days of free music are finally upon us.

already regged, pretty stoked about this
-
I signed up, but I still have no idea what it is. Anyone care to elaborate? The site wasn't much help..
-
Is this like Pandora?
-
free with commercials, $ without. shitload of labels it seems. worth a looksie imo.
any idea how bad the ads are, people above us? -
the ads are quite annoying. not sure it is worth paying just so you can get rid of them though

I signed up.
I hope Admiral didnt just give me computer aids, cause I basically have no clue what I just signed up for. -
If it has ads how can it be better than groove shark??
I signed up anyways tho -
Soooo... spotify is the worst one?
-
from the same article @ http://www.thedanosphere.com/2010/03...rk-vs-pandora/
Spotify – Generally over hyped. No web client, extremely annoying audio ads for free users. I am in the U.S. so I was only able to use the desktop client, thus I cannot comment on the mobile client. Was unable to listen to several recently released songs because the service didn’t have them available yet and there is no “upload your own” option. Subscription is very expensive relative to other services. -
I'll stick to Sirius radio. Have fun with this one fellas.
-
I cant believe ive never heard of grooveshark.
Probably going to use this one a lot now. -
ha, damn looks like I might be sticking to grooveshark. I didn't read any recent review but was just going off of what I heard for the last year or so. I read an article when they were first talking about coming here that said pretty much the opposite of what I'm reading now. Sorry guys carry on with grooveshark, but it will probably be worth it to atleast check it out.

Love grooveshark. Everyday that I update playlists I can't believe its still free.
-
holy shit I've been on grooveshark since hearing about it itt. pretty mf awesome imo. I'm like 10 songs in, no ads yet. I'm not stealing music am I? lol...but seriously
-
Grooveshark + Sirius is all I need.
I listen to Howard Stern 98% of the time anyways but GShark is solid.
Sirius really is amazing though, I am a huge phish fan and they had a festival over the weekend. Sirius Jam On Channel streamed every set live. Pretty sweet. -

nope you are just streaming it. It only is stealing if it makes it to your mp3 player without spending $$ -
woot!
-

I'll stick to google and mediafire.
-
Using Pandora on Firefox + Adblock Plus = no ads, so I've never had a problem. But I'm def going to check out grooveshark.
-
Spotify is seriously amazing, crushes Grooveshark
-
How much is Spotify paying you Admiral?
I keed! -
Invite
Click link if you need an invite. Its safe, I just signed up. Not sure how many there are available. -
Wow, they have Church of Misery. This may actually be worth having downloaded. I should be less cynical.
-
Quality on Spotify >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> quality on Grooveshark. Infact, sound quality on Grooveshark is absolutely HORRID!!!! I will definitely continue to pay $10/mo for my Spotify account. Added 2,000 songs today to my playlist.
Also, Spotify has "Off-Line" listening. Which means you dont have to be connected to the internet. -
I had Spotify for about a year. I had a free version and never encountered a single add (it wasn't available in Ireland, got it through a proxy). Then I changed laptops and lost it forever :(
But its amazing. Never used the other two so can't compare. -
klout.com is starting a partner thing with spotify so we can give out invites, if anyone is still interested here you go
spotify invite with klout
it's pretty damn sweet, been playing with it for a while now, can already tell this is going to take a lot of my time.
