So this year for spring break me and a bunch of my friends went to daytona beach for the week. we got a really good deal on a 2 bedroom condo for $1400. split 14 ways it was only $100 per person. ended up getting there at about 2:30 p.m. saturday. first thing i noticed when we got to the hotel was <span id="lw_1237856268_0">Asante Samuel</span> and <span id="lw_1237856268_1">Brian Westbrook</span> were in the lobby with some other big black dude that i didnt recognize (security or another player i'm assuming). oh, and during the drive there, we got flashed by 2 girls who were with their mom and their little sister. one guy gave them his # and we found out that they were staying in our hotel. needless to say, we had a few awkward run-ins with them. they were both 17 and huge sluts. they were too old for me.

anyway we head to the room and see that its actually really nice. i was expecting a dump for what we paid. we decide to hit the beach for a bit while there's still sunlight out. obviously we take some shots first and about 8 of us go ahead and head down. the other 6 of us were a little slow and ended taking a few more shots by ourselves. we ended up going down to the beach already drunk. when we all went back up to the room, the first 8 people were pretty shocked to find that we nearly finished off the handle of vodka in under an hour.this ended up being a theme to our trip.

so the first night we all got pretty hammered and had an awesome time. second day, woke up and starting drinking again. went and chilled on the beach, in the pool, in the hot tub. most of our days consisted of this. later on that night me and 2 other guys walked down to a nearby liquor store. i chilled outside while they went in and ended up meeting a dude that worked at the pizza place next door. found out he could sell us some weed so me and my friend ended up waiting like an hour for his friend to drop his stash by his place.definitely worth the wait though.

so that night ended up being my most interesting night. i got really smashed (drank about a fifth of vodka) and wondered off to the beach by myself. ended up passing out and thankfully some random dude and his gf woke me up and told me beach patrol was coming and i needed to gtfo. they even walked me back to my hotel and up to my room. best part was that my blackberry and $300 in my wallet did not get stolen. they said it was just laying there next to me when they found me. they also got in a fight with my friends saying that they were bad friends cuz they let me wonder off by myself like that, lol.

i passed out on the bathroom floor when i got back. woke up with an insane hangover and realized that i lost my glasses some time the night before. i was in a really shitty mood cuz i thought i wouldnt be able to see for the rest of the trip and felt horrible but i smoked some of the shit we bought the night before, and went downstairs and talked to the people at the front desk who told me that i could have new glasses made in a hour at lenscrafters.

friends drove me up there, had glasses made, and we went to <span id="lw_1237856268_2">Checkers</span> while we were waiting. i always like eating at the restaurant chains that they only have in certain areas. also learned that Checkers is a great hangover cure. i took it easy that night because i need to refuel to get ready to do it again the next day, which was St. Patty's Day.

St. Patty's Day was awesome. they shut down a street nearby and had a huge party, we hit that up and it was pretty fun. next few days were fairly standard. drinkin, smokin, straight east coastin. one girl that was there was all over my nuts the first part of the week. i think i was the only one she really knew coming into the trip, and she's kinda shy. anyway, she's the innocent, sweet kind that goes to church and doesn't do much partying. she got wasted every night for the first part of the week. i didn't have it in me to fuck her. i didn't think she would take it as a spontaneous hookup but more as a sign that i actually liked her. didn't want any drama as i see her all the fucking time. so i settled for a few blowjobs and went on my merry way.

thursday, while playing football on the beach, i cut my foot on what i'm thinking was eaither <span id="lw_1237856268_3">broken glass</span> or a shell. it was a nasty fucking cut and was bleeding everywhere. beach patrol came over and wrapped it with gauze but they're fucking worthless and couldnt do anything else. they told me that i might want to go to the hospital cuz i might need stitches. so now im freaking out thinking im gonna need stitches, but it was a lot better the next day and had closed up. this was a huge relief.

friday, we went and checked out Daytona Speedway. i'm not a NASCAR fan but i love sports and could def appreciate its historical value.

we left friday night at midnight and made it home just in time to watch Texas lose to Duke

ended up spending about $300 for the trip, $400 if you count the glasses i had to buy. we also drank an insane amout of liquor + well over 300 keystones and 60 coronas

also got to watch the shuttle launch. that was really cool. wanted to drive there but couldnt convince everyone else to.

Cliffnotes: -went to daytona beach, florida and stayed in a badass condo right on the water.

-drank a shitload of alcohol

-passed out on the beach one night by myself and don't really remember the 4 hours in between when i left the hotel and when the random stranger carried me back to my room.

-got head from a girl i stayed with

-visited Daytona Speedway

-Texas did not make the Sweet 16

I imagine that was a lot of fun haha, damn Im going to miss spring breaks
