-
lol says the vet removed 1300+quills
-
not sure why pics disappeared but they're back
-
why are they standing there taking pictures of that poor dog? get them out get them out
-
yeah they have to put it under for a while to get them all out surgically.
-
There's a 90% chance there's a naked porcupine running around somewhere.
-
This seems to be the source according to Snopes. The OP looks to have made a number of posts. I'm reading the thread now.
If it is the owner (s)he starts the post with:
"Bull Terrier 1 Porcupine 0."
then continues:
"The porcupine actually came up near the house and so they are testing it for rabies, It didn't walk away from this one I'm afraid." -
sigh im too mean wish i didnt see these tho. my fault
-
I petted a porcupine once, they're actually quite soft if you pet them the right way
-
It's not a pitbull, it's a bull terrier. Spuds the bud dog if you will
-
thats one dumb dog.
-
Amazing the dog survived. Trauma alone from that many quills can kill, not to mention if any get broken off and infected. When a porcupines quill embeds it absorbs fluids from the surrounding tissue and expands so you can't just pull it out, hence the reason surgical removal is necessary. That's one huge vet bill I'm sure.

Porcupines die so effin hard anyways. Add the quill factor and I said the dog wins like 1/20
