    In celebration of my big score last night, I will be offering 9 stakes to OTers who want to play in the $11 buy-in 200 K guaranteed this Sunday on pokerstars.

    I will ALSO be hosting a private freeroll tournament with a $101 prizepool on PokerStars. The field will most likely be capped somewhere between 9 and 18 players. It can be held whenever you guys feel is the most convenient. OTers are only eligible to participate in one of these two events, unless we get less than 18 takers. If this is your choice, please post what time works best for you.

    EDIT (#2): The tentative time for the private tournament is now this TUESDAY, September 30, at 10:00 pm EDT. I want to be able to rail, and the Steelers are playing on Monday, so that night wouldn't work for me.

    Post in this thread expressing your interest in either of these two events. Please understand that while I would love to stake all OTers, this is not possible, and veteran/ poor posters will be given preference. This thread as of right now is merely to gauge OT's interest in this proposal. A final roster of contestants will be confirmed by me at the appropriate time.

    P.S. If everyone would prefer to play in the 200 K or everyone would prefer to play in a private freeroll, that is fine, I can set it up that way too.

    I have to drive to Houston Sunday but the private tourney would be a lot of fun! Tonight 6pm+ (central) would be good for me.

    It wouldnt matter to me, i think its great that some of you help out some of the smaller BR players and get them in more action to get better. Really appreciate it and really makes these boards shine imo. Id love to do either one but pref the 200k

    Congrats on the score sir!! Now explain Pennoyer to me and I'll be impressed. Gonna be a mother hen until you are done with your first year of law school. Oh and I like my steaks rare ftr...and by that I mean private OT tourney. Those are fun.

    i run ok in the 200k have monies but might play better under a steak. bout the only tourney i play these days cashed last 5 time played.

    yeah Jeff you're most def in. How about a Monday evening tournament, around 10:00 EDT. Earlier? Later? A different night?

    I gave myself a $1,000 budget of money I can blow. So far I am getting:

    $200 in OT stakes :-)
    $150 for an iPod (I still don't have one!)
    $200 to restock our liquor cabinet with good stuff
    $100 to pick up the tab next time we go out
    $60-$100 new pair of casual sneakers

    Still thinking about what else I want to get.

    Oh yeah, I am ALSO giving myself a $1,000 budget to play in the Sunday Majors this weekend (this isn't really a splurge, of course, since I plan on FTing one of them).

    Came 9th out of 256 yesterday for my last 55fpps on stars (sun warm Q) and would love to play either.
