Strangest way to lose your cell phone

    I was driving back from dinner tonight and my iphone (3GS - ballin') slipped out of my hands and went under the driver's seat. There are two small gaps under the seat that lead under the floorboards. Apparently the phone slid into the gap as I exited the freeway. Coat hanger ftl. Need a really steep hill or I'm going to give the mechanic a good laugh. Was planning to upgrade in October so not sure how much I would spend to get her back at this point.

    Gold will never fall. Gold will never fall. Nor will Oil or Real estate or tech stocks or interest rates or the Euro.... I've still got almost a year so we'll see.

    Might look for a steep incline tomorrow on my way to work. Guess the engineers in 2002 didn't see cell phones getting so slim.

    ive had my cell on the dash of my truck and made a quick turn onto a busy road and it slid out the passenger side window which was down and immed crushed by traffic

    I was riding with a friend who did the same thing. Took a fast turn and the phone started sliding so I went to grab but instead gave it a high five in the air and launched that fucker out the window and into orbit

    Lol. I saw this title and thought to myself, "Ive probably lost or broken more phones then anyone."


    No real good stories tho. I downloaded an app tho that helps me locate it. You text me a specific number, and my phone will send you back a link to a google map with its location.

    Also great for when you need to get picked up from places or have people meet you and you dont have to worry about giving directions.

    Its called droid locater pro. Best $3 i ever spent.

    It also has another feature where you have another number that will trigger ur phone to make noise. This way if u lost ur phone in ur house and its on silent or vibrate, you can still find it.

    Update: Mechanic had to take out the driver's seat, pull off the trim, and cut the phone out of the plastic HVAC vent with a razor blade. Total cost - $54. Cheaper than a new phone tho.

    went to six flags in CA last year and rode X2. phone was in a clip case, clipped inside of my pocket. if you've ever ridden X2, you know how crazy it is. welp, the phone came unclipped and hit my GF 's leg. she reached down and was able to grab the clip case but the phone was long gone. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

    stuck there for 2 days. ended up comign out while flooring it on a steep hill.

    i had it for a long time. i put a red cover on it and thought i was so cool. that thing was heavy looking back.
