    Watching him on his way to his 3rd main event on espn classic right now and the guy was amazing. it s also great to see how different the access to the players is. stu came over to talk to gabe kaplan and hellmuth about a hand during the break. Kaplan is a really good announcer, he should have van patten's job. rip stuey and tell your kids to say no what a f ng waste of talent

    Yeah, read the book and was very depressed. There is a part in it where he realises what a fuck up he'd been, when he's at his lowest, has no bankroll etc and his daughter has to look at price tags of dresses she wants and it dawns on him about how much money he pissed away so that he can't even afford to get his daughter whatever she wants.

    Some sad stuff right there. How many of us would like to have half of his natural talent and he just could not use it wisely enough.

    Very sad.

    Yes that book was fantastic. Every kid who signs up for a pokersite should have to read it. The picture of him when he was showing the effects of his drug use should be posted in every school. So sad to die alone in a hotel room like that and so unfortunate for poker to lose this genius. RIP Stu.

    He was in such control of the final table it was like the others knew that they were only playing for 2nd. Shame he went so soon.
