  1. For most of you, these questions were all answered two years ago, but I'm a little slow, so please help me out.

I download mp 3's from the I Pod site to my I Pod. If I then plug my I Pod into my home stereo, how much difference is there in quality compared to a commercial CD?

Is the I Pod site the best place to download mp 3's?

If I convert these mp 3's to .wav and make a mix CD for my wife, is the quality comparable to pulling the songs off of commercial CD's for the mix cd?

Anything else I need to know?

    Thanks a lot.
  2. If you're downloading and paying for the mp3, they will be cd quality. I don't see why you are convertiing them the .wav though, that is just somthing you don't need to do
  3. If I want to make an audio mix cd, I've always just converted the tracks to .wav and then I write them to disc. I'm usually doing this from my cds, but figure if I mix mp 3's in, I'll need to convert them.
