    Working 40 hours a week, going through a shitty breakup involving the mother of my child, raising my son, paying bills plus child support now, taking 12 credit hours of college (full time), broken foot, eye surgery that took me out for a week right during finals and means I wear an eye-patch right now, like a pirate.

    Got a raise, made deans list for my good grades, quit smoking, started jogging, progressed at BJJ and judo (including winning a few rounds in competition), lost 64 pounds, shopping for my first house again, bagged a few girls AND won the motherfuckin Plattsburg.

    After making $99,500 last year and 98,775 the year before i finally made 100K at work this year. Had a blast and was able to meet a handful of you clowns in Vegas in the summer. Finally got back into golfing once a week in the summer and bowling and playing hockey once a week in the winter. I was about a pack and a half a week smoker and finally 100% kicked that all together. (chewing is next)

    Wife made 3 different trips to the ER, including once all day xmas day for cysts on her ovaries, they still dont know the cause or even the next step. Lost online poker.

    sorry to hear this but isn't the easy way out just to get those removed? I'm pretty sure my mom had that surgery before

    Traveled and hung out in Asia the entire year. Learned a lot and met hundreds of cool and interesting people along the way

    shipped my 1st tourney with a field over 180 players (5r). 3rd biggest score but 1st feels so nice

    Picked up a new hobby, bought a camera

    My body starting responding to my training for the first time since getting sick in 2002. Major victory.

    Just about bubbled the OT poker league; lost the office pool NCAA bracket in the national championship game (lead the entire tourney); and am just out of the money in the OT handicapping league. Cliffs: so close to big wins all year.

    Made one major mistake, learned alot from it. Had a solid year, grade it 94/100.

    Lots of changes at my day job but managed to stay positive for the most part and moving forward.

    Didn't make much progress with my RRSP fund but learned a lot playing the market.

    Made a lot of new contacts with music and worked hard on my flute and clarinet playing. Building for the future.

    One year closer to retirement.

    That is the very simple way to do it, but she is 29 years old and they dont want to jump right to that step.

    Year was going perfect. Made huge steps in my poker game and was on pace for a 6 figure year. Felt like I was on top of the world.

    Black Friday hit and I have been a sad panda ever since. That shit crushed my soul so hard. Most depressing thing I have ever dealt with by far. Getting back on my feet tho and starting to feel much better about things.

    Finally graduated, went from broke student to six figure salary overnight

    -Started to finally make poker work.
    -Then, Black Friday.
    -Bricked WSOP.
    -But decided to fake it as a "live pro" anyway.
    -Also, lots of concerts.


    Moving to Costa Rica in a month. Already confident 2012 will be better.

    Get to watch my little guy go from just laying around to now running around. Having a kid has been so much better than i thought. Still loving every minute i spend with the wifey. Got laid off when the company I was working for went busto. But got a better paying job closer to home with less hours and some stability. Dolphins failed again. Nothing new. Sox disappointed and now dismantled the team.
