  1. I've already moved on from Modric. I simply can't see him staying with Spurs. After watching Dos Santos obliterate the Olympics I'm hoping beyond hope that AVB figures out how to get him involved.
  2. CMON Liverpool, step up and get Dempsey!
  3. Looks like Spurs made a bid for M'Vila, but he refused to go there... lolz.

  4. Oh, I am not slagging Modric, per se, more the culture, that says, "Fuck it, I want to go to (insert Mega-Club of choice here), because I want to win trophies."

Here's an idea . . . stop holding the clubs to ransom, so they can BUILD a winner, and you can reitre a LEGEND. Very few Shearers, Matthews, or Charltons left in today's game. They are all mercenaries.
  5. Holy Hell does that look/sound bitter . . .

This so much. Also think Joe Allen's gonna be a great signing for us
  7. Liverpool is MUCH improved over the summer . . . might even challenge for 7th this season.

(sorry, couldn't resist a sitter like that one)
  8. RVCunt to Man U agreed
  9. So who is gonna be Man U front line? RVP Rooney Walbeck? Obv the must sell Berbatov now no?
  10. Personally I don't think welbeck is good enough or united. They have just given him a new contract though. Berbatov will def be gone
  11. Wenger confirmed the fee was €30m+

As much as it sucks to lose your leading goal scorer, selling an extremely injury prone 29 year old with a year left on his deal for €30m+ is pretty crazy business. Looks like Song may well be on his way as well. I like Song as a player alot, but he seems to keep pushing more forward, which isn't really where he is needed. If we get £17-£20M+ for him, thats a pretty solid deal as well, provided the money is used to buy a replacement like M'Vila. I would miss his shorts.

Still really excited about this season, but if we sell Song and don't bring in a replacement, I think we're a bit thin in midfield.

Shouldn't the english press be getting on Ferguson for stifling Welbecks progress? Pretty sure they would be pounding Arsene if he did the same.

  13. Meh. They like man u though
  14. VAN FUCKING PERSIE!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

    Fuck. Yes.

Has totally fucked with my fantasy team tho. Had my team built around Rooney. But at 12.0, he needs to grab like 230-240 to justify that price, and I think that might be more difficult with RVPwesome on the squad.

Also scuppers the thoughts I had of maybe bringing in Kagawasaki. I really want Valencia, but there is now so much going on in midfield. Idk.
  16. Not a transfer, but Fabrice Muamba announced today that he is abandoning any attempts to return to Football, and is retired with immediate effect. Fortunately, the young man will have ample opportunity to discover that there is, indeed, "more to life than Football".
  17. Would hate to see song go, he's so solid. Looking forward to watching wilshere again. Is he fit to start season?

  18. USA about to beat Mexico in Azteca Stadium for the first time ever. First time in Mexico ever period.

    Friendly but still.

  19. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Fuck you RVP!!!!!!

Looks like Modric to Real Madrid is official but won't be announced until Spurs figure out who they are spending the money on. Adebayor and ???

Also looks like Javi Martinez to Bayern for 40 million is happening.

Lastly, good news for my beloved Giovani Dos Santos, he might be going to Inter Milan in a swap deal for Julio Cesar. Maybe he gets time there and becomes a stud, we'll see...

  20. Hahahahahaha, that damn Hitler!!

  21. Sad to see him go, but no way its worth investing a £24m transfer fee and £200K/week in a player with grey hair and a horrible injury record. Hopefully it pushes United one step closer to administration.

  22. Saw this on twitter, Liverpool including FIFA12 stats for their new signing in the scouting report... lol: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/late...ussama-assaidi

No reason they can't afford both.
  28. I just dont think Lloris is any better.

I like Brad, he makes the saves he can get to but is unspectacular, his set piece play leaves a ton to be desired. Lloris is probably overrated by many but he's still pretty good and still young. Friedel is older than dirt.

Dembele was a good signing, wonder what it means for VDV and rumors of him potentially shipping out. I'd prefer he retire at Spurs but we'll see. Get Lloris and one more attacker and I'm beyond thrilled with this window.

  30. Dembele is an incredible signing. Cant believe there isnt anyone else in for him.
