Okay folks, we've listened to your ideas and thoughts and although they seem nice, the more complicated we make things the worse this will be. So we will go with the original idea of having blonde and pigalet and myself decide who will get staked. I want you guys to realize that I am not doing this because i want to make money. I am a little upset at the greed that is being shown here. I will not get into why we won't do the other ideas but we have decided to do a small committee of the three of us to get things done.

We have a nice list of candidates. A lot of these people one of us doesn't personally like, but we really wanted to pick people that spend their time on OT and contribute. Every 9 weeks, we will create a new list of people that we will choose from randomly (pick out of a hat type thing). This ensures that we truly will not play favorites on this and as long as you are providing positivity to the OT community we will include you in this. Each one of the three of us will choose ONE that we really feel should be included, and the rest will be picked randomly from the applicant pool that we have deemed to be possible applicants.

Our criteria for choosing people is based on the following:

1.) Post count. This doesn't mean you need 5000 posts or you won't be included. We want to see that you have at least spent a bit of time in OT. Also, please don't run up your posts in hope of getting included. This is not about greed so please keep yours at the door.

2.) Low to mid-stakes. There is no reason why people like myself, wretchy, Waco, or anyone else that plays high stakes on the regular should be staked. We can afford it ourselves. If you randomly took a shot at a 109 that's one thing, but if you play it on the regular you won't be included.

3.) Integrity. We want people that have been around a while and that people can vouche for them personally. We don't want some person with 800 posts that no one has ever talked to on AIM to hit for 230k and never pay anyone. We've been screwed before (SchruteRules) and we don't want it to happen again. So if you want to get staked, you need to start making friends.

4.) Staking. If you are consistently staking, then your priority in the applicant pool will rise. However, this does not guarantee that you will be included in the pool. We want well rounded OTers in this and staking will not guarantee you a spot. We are trying to have fun and root for a friend. No one is guaranteed a spot and no one should feel like it's their right to be staked. Again, this is just for fun and it is optional.

Okay, so that is the situation. Please note that the applicant pool is VERY long. It will not be published because we don't want to hear people bitch about how they deserve to be included. Please just trust us that we are making the right decision. We need to make this as simple as possible to ensure it will work.

Please do not bitch about this thread, but just welcome it. Again, every 9 weeks we will add a new pool all over again. I will be the one to handle the staking. We will do one person a week. We are doing one a week to ensure organization. If it becomes blatantly obvious that there is a huge demand for two people in one week then we will possibly include that after the first nine get their chance.

I promise you -- some of the people we chose I personally hate. We are going to be fair, I promise. Once you play you cannot play again. If you are chosen and cannot play on that week.

If someone cashes, payouts would be as following: 50/50 after stakeback. So let's say you cash for 800 dollars. The 210 will go back to each backer and then the rest would be split 50/50
