Which is better (or what is better than both)?

and

I haven't been to either, so this is what I would do haha. -
Already yelped them both and so far seems like SW, but never hurts to ask OT. Especially if there's something better than both of them.

How long has Prime been at Bellagio? Is Fix gone? I haven't been to Vegas since September, but didn't spend much time at the B. -
Have also read a lot of good things about Carnevino and Cut at Palazzo.
Atmosphere wise we're looking for something more like SW or the traditional fine dining environment. The more I read about Cut and Carnevino it seems it will be that or SW. Maybe wherever I can get a comp (plan on doing this 2nd night of the trip). -
Lavo at Palazzo is the tits. Excellent steak.

N9ne is overpriced and meh quality...but a great young hip atmosphere...if you want one of the best steakhouses in town, go to the one at circus circus, im not playing. google it, it is the stone cold nuts
-
Circus Circus steakhouse is amazing, definitely one of the best steakhouses in Vegas. I heard they changed it, but we ate at the Luxor steakhouse a few years ago and to this day that was still one of these best filets Ive ever had.

It's our first wedding anniversary. Not sure if I want to take her to Circus Circus for dinner there. How's the place inside?

Never been to SW but really liked Craftsteak, Cut was very good too. Listen to Waco on this one. He's from texas and lives in Vegas so you gotta trust him

man. I gotta get back to Vegas. haven't been since city center and the Elvis show opened.
wish i still got free offers from venetian/palazzo for four free nights. Guess I didn't gamble enough last time I was there :( -
N9ne imo...food was ok and I didn't pay the bill so I don't know about the price. However, I did eat at the table right beside Tracy McGrady and his posse(obv back when he still had the money to eat there lol).
-
they recently cut comps to low and mid-level gamblers, google it if you want there are a bunch of articles... business is good for LVS because of Macau and Singapore and they are cutting costs in Vegas

like I said, don't go to n9ne. SW is a great choice. only been there once but I must say it was rather fantastic. Craftsteak is still my personal fav due to things other than steak (best lobster bisque ever, love the quail) -
didn't see it was for anniversary
i want some kobe now, and crafsteak monkey bread dessert or whatever it is, shit is amazingggggggggg -
Edited By: bam19 Mar 22nd, 2011 at 01:04 PMI think frequency of trips is just as important as the stakes you wager. I am by no means a Vegas highroller but usually go 2-3 times a year, sometimes more and haven't paid much (if at all) for a hotel for the past couple years. Last trip in September we hardly paid anything for Palazzo and this next trip with the wife is fully comped at Encore. Just make sure you're always giving your players card, especially on the late night drunken BJ sessions.Originally Posted by dolphin13

Worst case I get is free weekday nights and highly discounted rates on weekend nights. -
I have personally been to Prime and craftsteak and absolutley loved the meals @ both. Have heard a couple bad things about n9ne and it's overpriced menu
Lavo was pretty good but didnt really impress me all that much FWIW Tao is way better than lavo IMO -
Never been but isn't Top of the World at Stratosphere supposed to be really f'ing good? And a good place for an anniversary dinner
-
wow that's crazy. Just read an article where a woman, who stayed and gambled there once a month, had her comped room cancelled by the hotel 48 hours before she she was supposed to stay there.

It's too bad. Palazzo was my favorite hotel in Vegas and obviously I loved the Venetian's poker room. by far and away my favorite in Vegas. Guess I'll have to switch over to the Wynn. still get some offers from there and it's close to Venetian poker room.
Anyone know if they changed the comps at the Venetian poker room? Last time I was there they said they were redoing comps so you could use them at giftshops, all restaurants and for your hotel room instead of just massages and food at grand lux.
