Loved my C64. Two of my favorite games were
Ghostbusters

And Flight Sim II. Check out the awesomeness of the Manhattan skyline.

These were the last video games I actually owned. I had the original Nintendo but it was my friend's and he got grounded from video games so he brought it over to my house and never took it back. He had Metroid, Contra, Excite Bike, Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Mario Brothers. -
I just took a viagra.

wtf tank wars? it was called Scorthed Earth. that game was awesome. Hot Napalms, MIRVs, nukes, everything you could need.
also number muchers was great. and word munchers. Could you turn into a super word muncher or something with a cape? -
I had some good times with AOL. Fckin with people in chatrooms, Instant messaging, asking and receiving pics ('File's Done!' the voice would say after a d'load).
Anyone ever use punters on AOL? There were several. They basically were used to piss people off. You could boot someone off AOL with 'em, spam their email/IM. Sht was fun. I was like 12 or 13.
One day I jumped in a chatroom and got a IM from someone claiming to work for AOL and they said they needed my password. It was well written, so I copy/pasted and sent to other random people. A few people ended up sending me passwords. Don't know why I did it, I didn't have any reason for doing it, was just bored I guess.
Next day I try to log on and wasn't able. Then my pops tries and gets denied. He ends up calling AOL and they told him our household was basically blackballed from ever using AOL again because of the password snatching. He puts me on the phone with the lady and I make up something but she didn't buy it. To my family, and many other people at the time, AOL was 'the internet'. Their email addresses and such. They thought that stuff was inaccessible forever after being banned. They weren't that tech savvy. My pops used that email for business. He was astounded at what I had done. as was the rest of my fam. He would try and explain to other people why he couldn't use email. He told 'em what I did and such. I was scum for a while after that. Funny now, wasn't then.
TL/DR
Cliffs: Fun times with AOL, got entire household banned for life. -
O really?

There is also a similar game from the same era called Tank Wars and another on the Commodore Amiga computer system called Scorched Tanks. Tank Wars was made in 1990 by Kenny Morse, a year before Scorched Earth. Commodore also released a similar version in their educational software catalog called Artillery.

lol reminds me back in the day I had a file I would send my friends over ICQ and when they clicked to open it nothing would happen (I'd say "damn..thought I had it working") but it gave me control to do stupid shit on their computer like open and close their cd disc tray, type in their ICQ windows, all sorts of shit.

I also created a page that was identical to the Hotmail main page but when people entered their login information it would email it to me. I'd tell girls to test it out cause I'm trying to put a hotmail login on my website (lol?). They'd do it and say it didnt log them in so I said I'd try to fix it. I read one of the hotter girls emails where she had been cybering with this dude I knew..I definitely jacked off to that shit. -
fk yeah that game was awesome

Netbus? I remember doing that too. I could never get anyone to open the file.. i think i got one random person, but I could never know for sure if it worked or not, but to this day, I still imagine him thinking "wtf is up with my CD drive?"

Not if they IP banned him. Which back in the day, the IP was locked to your modem, so unless he got a new modem, he wouldn't be able to log in.
