    yea, shits real tho

Yea really tilting when she posts that. All those churches broke off from the Catholic church
Yet somehow the catholic church made up 90% of the shit that isn't in the bible.

Please ecugirl list some things Catholics teach that isn't in the bible. And if your list starts
With purgatory you can stop typing because it won't be worth The argument
  3. "Although all of the students were over 18 years old, it is against Texas law for a teacher to have an improper relationship with a student, regardless of age."

If this is true, I had many teachers in college and law school who are criminals and should still be behind bars.
  4. Found it. Weird that if the student goes to a different school, then it's not a felony. In fact, not even a crime. The affirmative defenses also show how ridiculous the law is. I get they do not want teachers preying on students, but apparently only students at the teacher's school. Gotta love the lawmakers.

Oh wait, it was a gangbang? Never mind then. That's deviant behavior. Lock her up longtime.

Sec. 21.12. IMPROPER RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATOR AND STUDENT. (a) An employee of a public or private primary or secondary school commits an offense if the employee:
    (1) engages in sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or deviate sexual intercourse with a person who is enrolled in a public or private primary or secondary school at which the employee works;
    (2) holds a certificate or permit issued as provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 21, Education Code, or is a person who is required to be licensed by a state agency as provided by Section 21.003(b), Education Code, and engages in sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or deviate sexual intercourse with a person the employee knows is:
    (A) enrolled in a public primary or secondary school in the same school district as the school at which the employee works; or
    (B) a student participant in an educational activity that is sponsored by a school district or a public or private primary or secondary school, if:
    (i) students enrolled in a public or private primary or secondary school are the primary participants in the activity; and
(ii) the employee provides education services to those participants; or
    (3) engages in conduct described by Section 33.021, with a person described by Subdivision (1), or a person the employee knows is a person described by Subdivision (2)(A) or (B), regardless of the age of that person.
    (b) An offense under this section is a felony of the second degree.
(b-1) It is an affirmative defense to prosecution under this section that:
    (1) the actor was the spouse of the enrolled person at the time of the offense; or
    (2) the actor was not more than three years older than the enrolled person and, at the time of the offense, the actor and the enrolled person were in a relationship that began before the actor's employment at a public or private primary or secondary school.
    (c) If conduct constituting an offense under this section also constitutes an offense under another section of this code, the actor may be prosecuted under either section or both sections.
    (d) The name of a person who is enrolled in a public or private primary or secondary school and involved in an improper relationship with an educator as provided by Subsection (a) may not be released to the public and is not public information under Chapter 552, Government Code.

  10. I think it's hilarious that the phrase "deviate sexual intercourse" appears in the law. Or, it would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Even sadder that someone who is employed by the government and who has the power to put you in prison gets to determine what that means.
  14. Can someone tell me what the difference is between deviant and deviate when referring to sexual behavior. Same thing??

I'm a sad panda. I've been busting my butt as a freelancer for the company that laid me off years ago. They just had big shakeups in the management and a bunch of people decided to leave. I figured I was a shoe in for a full time but they have a new company policy where they wont hire any former employees.

sigh. Time to find a new career.

    :(

  15. i dont think "deviate" is the correct term - it should be "deviant" in the context of this discussion

A deviant is someone who deviates. A deviate is also someone who deviates....so, no difference?

    You couldn't be more wrong.

90% may have been an exaggeration, but I grew up in the Catholic Church and attended cathetcism classes and catholic school. I think a lot of their practices and teachings are based on tradition rather than anything in the Bible (papal infalliability, confession, praying to saints, to name a few...none of that is in the Bible).

I'm not "holy roly", that's just the way I've been characterized on here, because I do consider myself a Christian and go to church. I didn't necessarily want to be known as the resident Christian, but felt that I had to try to dispel some myths that seemed to be rampantly flying around about Christians. For all the good it's done. But I am in no way a holy roller (term I think you may have been going for). It seems that people on here think anyone who believes in God and goes to church is a "holy roller" lol.

I don't justify it at all. It's wrong. But as I've said before, it's not about me. It's a misperception about Christianity that it's about being "good" and earning your way into heaven. We all have our stuff and nobody will ever be good enough.

I'm not saying she forced them necessarily. I was about to equate this situation to a boss/employee relationship. Lots of companies/employers have policies against this. If they were recently graduated and no longer in her class or school, then I don't think it would've been as bad, or that she should've been fired/received disciplinary action. My major problem with it personally is what she did to her husband and children, but that doesn't have anything to do with her job and is between her and her husband.

Can you imagine what would happen if we said, as a society, that it's ok for teachers and students to sleep together as long as the students are 18? Do we really want to go down that road? I imagine that it would cause quite a disruption in the education system. There have to boundaries in society. I know people in your generation don't want to hear that, but it's the truth.

I dont think anyone was saying it was OK that this happened. Just that the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Fire her from being a teacher, but don't lock her up..

you said you were worried society wants to say that this was OK. If it was OK we wouldn't have this thread.

Anyway. So if Jesus drank Jesus juice, would that make him a cannibal?
  26. 20 years? How is she supposed to capitalize on any of this?

That's the prime of her porn career.

I said that I think she should receive disciplinary action at school/be fired, but not given jail time earlier itt :) It does seem that some people are saying that it's ok, since the students are 18 and consenting adults.
