    Even though Ted Kennedy is an awful politician, it's deplorable to wish death upon him. FWIW, I dont hate Leftymark of Sol but stuff like this really makes me scratch my head and wonder what the hell is wrong with people who are so heartless that they can wish death/injury on people with (probably) good intentions without blinking. Maybe they should make a new voting group: conservatives without compassion. Don't attempt to tell me that you hate Kennedy for what happened in the 60's cause thats not gonna fly.

    You're going to have a hard time convincing me that YOU wish death upon him for something that happened 40 years ago. Drunk driving is absolutely despicable but wishing death upon people who make mistakes is not the answer.

    Call me crazy but I think when you have a guy with a chronic disease who is winding down his life, you outta give him a little respect and let him die in peace. Not cheerfully applaud it..yes, he is probably an awful person with ridiculous political stances but it's still not right to so gleefully applaud when he collapses. The guy isn't Hitler. I just dont understand how humans can so easily wish harm upon so many people (if Ted Kennedy is in your "to die" pool then it must be pretty damn full)

    I must correct you Shaarp.. Hes a great politician.. Hes so good he gets re-elected to the Senate in a landslide every year despite what he did.. If you ever read or watched any documentary about what happened at Chappaquiddick you wouldnt have a bit of sympathy for him.

    Do you hate the district attorney who decided not to press charges as much as Kennedy? Cause IMO, you have him to blame him for not charging Kennedy with manslaughter. I highly doubt that anyone here would voluntarily go to jail if they had an out. I really dont think Kennedy is a great politician or person period. I just think it's wrong when people act like they would do the "right" thing regardless of the situation or consequences of it. It's EASY to say abortion is evil and wrong until you are 16 with a kid in a womb that is like a ticking timebomb waiting to go off and completely change your life forever. It's EASY to say youd call the cops right away and admit to drunk driving when youve likely killed your passenger. I just think people have a propensity to talk about crisis responses like theyve been there, done that when in actually it's impossible to predict how each person would deal with a situation differently.
