your asking if p5s could beat a womens professional tennis player?
k...
edit: also this girl is only fuckin 17??
yea she gets back to school
"what did u do this summer?"
"oh played in a couple of grand slams...ya know upset #4 (maybe) in the world" -
Im probably better now than I was when I played in college and I wouldnt even come close
She is pretty salty -
I wonder how the top collegiate male players who don't plan to go pro compare to professional women players? Would an average male pro destroy the best women pro? I have some tennis background but I'd be surprised if any P5'ers could beat her.
-
any guy in the top 1000 would be the #1 woman. the power is so vastly different, men's balls are just so much heavier (wow that's gay when not talking about tennis) than women's...
-
dolphin13 for sure can
-
holy shit. shes gonna fuckin win.
future star in the making? -
u do agree that ANYONE in the top 100 would beat serena right? prolly even top 200.
-
wow...bink the win.
what a fuckin upset -
Ill give you that anyone in the top 100 and prolly even top 200 would beat Serena the vast majority of the time but Ill still give the nod to Serena that she would squeak out a win on rare occasion.
-
IMO if Serena (in her prime) played 100 matches vs the 101-200 ranked men's players, she would finish some where around 10-15 wins and 85-90 losses.
-
This is a good estimate if they were playing 2 outta 3. If they were playing 3 outta 5 I gotta lower that win percent a bit.
-
Agreed, and I should have mentioned that in my prediction bc that's what I meant.

In 5 sets, the sheer masculine advantage would show thru much much more. -
I don't think you guys realize how deep the men's game is and just how much more powerful men are than even serena. did you watch federer play a no name last night? Guerel was playing toe to toe with him almost taking a set of Fed. even the no names in men's tennis are so much better and stronger than serena. don't get me wrong, i'm a huge serena fan, i just dont think she ever stands a chance against the men.
-
This isn't really a great comparison, but let's look at the WNBA. The top high school team in the nation would beat most wnba teams...the women's game just isn't the same

I play tennis and one of the guys I play tennis with now was an all american at Auburn back in 1998-99. He played Lindsay Davenport back when she was top 10 in the world at the time and beat her in 3 sets. He played a few satellite tournaments but was never good enough to play on tour.
Another guy I know who trained at Saddlebrook in Fla and went on to play for Michigan used to beat Capriati all the time when she was at the top of her game. He wasn't good enough to make it on tour either. -
my only chance would be playing doubles against her with one of the top doubles guys out there ( like butorac) and i would still give her like 40 - 1 odds (being very kind to me) .... she is pro.... very slim chances
-
thank you, someone who sees it like i do. the top 1000 men are so much stronger than the top women it's not even funny. even serena who literally crushes whoever she plays, would get crushed by no name pro's
