    Over the past week I've sporadic abdominal pains in the lower right area. They've woken me up at night but I don't feel them as much during the day. One night early last week I thought it could be appendicitis. I ruled it out as stomach discomfort until last night. After I jumped out of my night shower I started feeling a small pain in my right testicle. It is constant but not excrutiating. I had it all night and it woke me up slightly earlier than usual. I still have and its constant but not strong enough to stop me from doing my daily things.

    I've spent the past hour reading on the internet (QUITE SIMPLY THE WORST THING EVER. FUCK YOU GOOGLE) about what it could be and I'm very scared that it could be testicular torsion. Should I go to work or head to the hospital????

    I had something similar, ball pain is so fucking lame :( Doubtful it's torsion as it's been all week, unless it was torsion and the ball has already died. Unlikely tho, probably just bruised but I'd defs go to the hospital.

    I've had this happen to me before and went and got it checked out because I feared it could be some sort of hernia. Luckily it was just an infection and the meds they gave me took care of it in a couple days. Def go get it checked out.

    The testicle pain i've had it since 10pm yesterday. The abdominal pain comes and goes for the past ~10 days

    I just don't know if I should skip work for this. I've already decided i'm going today I just don;t know when

    There's really only one thing that will make it feel better. Half a jar of icy hot on the right ball and the pain you're talking about will disappear.

    is it the same pain as if you got kicked in the balls?

    if so it could be a prostrate infection which is pretty normal and easily treatable. go see a dr tho, don't wait

    No, its like concentrated on the top of the ball. Like if i touch right beside my testicle it hurts like a bitch, but i can touch the bottom of it and not feel anything

    not saying this is what it is but my son experienced some pain like this several years ago and ended up going to emerg - they found that his testicles had become twisted and did not release. They had to operate and remove one of his balls because the circulation had been cut off due to the twist. He is now a one ball man. True story. Get it checked out.

    This is a torsion. I had this when I was like 7 and they caught it right away (I was actually at the doctor for a separate reason and just mentioned it and they were like holy fuck we need to take care of this now - had it been another day or so and I'd be oneballkev too) I got lucky.

    To this day I am obsessed with checking my balls to make sure they aren't twisted and I sleep with compression shorts on to make sure they stay in place. It was so fucking painful that I remember the pain almost 20 years later.

    You have to go get an ultrasound on your nuts. I just went through all this about 5 months ago. Turned out I had/have an enlarged blood vessel in my nut.

    I had this happen once to me about 7 years ago. It eventually went away after a few weeks but it sounds exactly like what you described.

    I had me a torsion a couple years back. Its probably the only time I've ever discussed my nuts with my parents. It fixed itself before I even made it to the hospital but I got some free morphine so I had a good time.

    I remember them saying ball pain is often linked to kidney stones. Either way, pain in the balls is something you should never mess around with so just go get it checked out.

    This. Ultrasound was pleasant except in the affected area (mentholized goo and then foldling with ultrasound machine done by an old lady)

    sounds like might be an appendix issue. unless you already had it removed. i'm not a dr. but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last nite.

    I'd go and get it checked out...

    Abdominal pain is one of those things that can be a number of different issues. Best to get it checked out before it gets worse. Besides, persistent pain, especially for 10+ days, is obviously something.

    I had to get ultrasound and catscan on the nut last year, was kind of afraid it was the ol cancer but it turns out its a hernia. Not life threatening but lets just say the surgery will be a little "invasive" i shouldve already had it but im putting it off for obv reasons. I urge OT to pray for my long term nut health when i finally get this done in the coming months

    I had the exact same thing in 5th grade, it ended up being testicular torsion. I got it after a hockey game and they kept twisting and untwisting for a couple days and I went to the ER and had to get surgery (which was super painful) and they put like a little weight on one of my balls to stop it from twisting
