Huge Texans fan here so of course I'm pulling for them. I just like to watch games and have no knowledge like Zander etc. What do the Texans need to do to advance to the AFC championship? I see the Ravens have beat us all 5 times we have played and that they are something like 21-3 at home over the past 3 years. Can I get a Flacco gonna Romo one time please?
-
I think it's going to be a great game. If I had to bet, I'd take the Ravens, but I think the Texans have about a 40% chance of pulling off the upset.
-
Texans +7.5 is stealing money.
-
texans need to run to set up the pass and play great defense. good news, thats what they do. bad news, ray lewis aint gonna lose this mother fucking football game.
42-10 Ravens -
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

Joe flacco throws for 435 and 3 tds...ravens easy
-
I'd say somewhere in the range of 24-13 Ravens, given that spread 24-16 is prolly what it'll be
-
After watching like six games this year where Joe Flacco looked like a backup at best I find it hard believe they blow out Houston barring defensive TDs
-
I am a Texans fan and the Ravens are the bet of the week. Texans gonna be down 10 at the half and just fall apart in the 2nd half...I think Ravens win by 17+
-
Ravens seem to play to the level of their competition. I'd say ravens win by 10+...24-10 perhaps.
-
Ravens 24
Texans 3
don't see why anyone likes the texans here, tj yates gonna get raped and no one runs on baltimore. -
take the texans for the firsta half and ravens for the game...
ravens strat slow at home often but they pull it off late -
Yates was bad at home against the Bengals.
I can only see him being worse on the road in Baltimore.
If Baltimore can get a lead, I think they'll cruise.
Foster and their o-line can keep them in it, maybe if Flacco plays as bad as he often does.
I still have the Ravens -7.5,I dont love it but I dont think Yates has a chance to keep them in this game. -
Im obviously a huge Texans fan and while Im excited about getting past round one in the playoffs, Id rather be playing the Pats or the Broncos. Ravens are great on both sides of the ball. We are going to have win the turnover ratio by at least +3 to win this game. 27-10 Ravens but a Texans win and I lose my shit.
-
The Ravens should easily win this game. Houston shouldn't be able to run because the ravens will stack the box and Yates isn't going to beat them through the air. It's gonna be a beat down that will look closer than it really is. Probably by 9 or 10 points. The Ravens don't blow teams out, just not their style of offense.
-
Sure. But Ed Reed might contribute to the offenseive blowout if Yates throws some of the balls he threw against Cincy.
-
I hope Ed Reed comes to play, I really do, but this has been one of the worst years he's had. I know he's going to the Pro Bowl (hopefully not ;) and all, but him and Ray Lewis are shoe in's every year until they retire based on reputation alone. Kinda like how Cal Ripken would get selected as an all-star every year.

Either way, I'm not worried about this game at all. The Ravens are gonna have to beat themselves to lose this one. -
Yates airs it out for 250+ and 2 TDs. Foster 76 yards rushing, 63 yards recieving, 1 rush td. Texans limit ray rice, force flacco to the air where he has moderate success but makes a key turnover, setting up Yates for one of his td throws to a TE.
Texans 27-20. I'm a Texans homer, let me have fun imagining.
After the regular season game, in which they physically dominated us, I thought they were the class of the AFC and that we needed to avoid them in the playoffs as long as possible. Seeing that they can show up with their B game from time to time, I still have hope. -
