Saturday at The Jones, A&M is comin to town. the game will be on ABC for all to bask in the glory that is Tech's explosive offense
thoughts on the game, discuss.....
TTU: 48 A&M 17
GO TECH! -
I think Tech wins, but not by much. That much hate tends to lead to close games.
-
Rivalry underdog ftw
-
I think a team from Texas will end up winning but I could be mistaken....
-
As someone who graduated from Texas A&M and has season tickets, TTU Poker is completely wrong on this!
Tech wins 55-17. We are horrible in Lubbock. I bet against A&M once every 2 years, and it is always this game. -
my thoughts are that they will not be allowed to sell anymore of those cute "Vick 'Em shirts"
-
yeah, i wanted one and the school is TOTALLY against them
they even got the "service fraternity" Saddle Tramps to trade people game day shirts for Vick 'em shirts
SF RIGGED! -
I've only seen a little bit of Tech this year, and it was in the first week of the season when my degenerate ass needed a game to bet on Monday afternoon. They were a 9 point favorite against some Soup Can that I don't remember, but they put up points like it was nobody's business.
Their QB has a good arm and also good pocket awareness. For all the passes he threw, it's amazing how little he gets sacked. I wish more teams would play a style like Tech because it's just fun to watch.
What is the spread on this game anyways? -
Tech -8.
-
Oh, by the way, El Burro, I'm still planning on making a trip to Snook, TX to get some deep fried bacon with gravy. Work has kept me busy lately. Update coming soon.

Tech WTF
-
COUNT IT!
so much for fat-ass's "guaranteed win" -
Texas Tech is a very interesting team imo, because of the paradox that despite the fact that they are pretty much a joke of a football program, they have become so experienced at their insanely-ridiculously-ultra-super-duper-high pass-to-rush ratio system that they present a pretty serious threat to just about any team they play. They are kinda like how Arizona was at basketball for the past few years: Dangerous. "Dangerous," unlike "good" does not describe how good the team is at maintaining a sexy win/loss record, but rather, how the team rates compared to other teams as far as it's %chance of winning games against top ranked teams in the top 5. For example, let's say one team is 6-0 but poses likely only around a 10% chance of beating the #1 team in the nation, but some other team is 3-3 but poses a 25% chance of beating the #1 team in the nation. In this case, although the 3-3 team would not be considered "better" than the 6-0 team, it WOULD be considered a more "dangerous" team, if this makes any sense. So imo Texas Tech is a "dangerous" team, lolz.
-bfactor -
it took this win for Tech to finally get a top 25 ranking this season......
OU, Colorado, Missouri, and Texas do not leave us with an easy finish though -
There are two teams that I absolutely fucking love to watch that aren't ever on TV in my areas (Las Vegas/eastern North Carolina/Philly).
Texas Tech
and
Navy -
^ obv agree!
i think we're the only 2 Tech students/grads in OT ape
