Text Message Delays on Sprint/Boost Mobile/Nextel Still Happening?

    Hey guys. I am looking to switch cell phone carriers. Currently, I have Metro PCS, which is great, but it isn't compatible with most SMS or mobile marketing companies and I am launching a mobile marketing company in the next couple of weeks. I was thinking of switching to Boost or Sprint. I am reading that a couple of years ago they had severe text delays where it would take up to 6 hours to receive a text. I need to receive texts instantly, so for anyone who has Sprint/Boost/Nextel do you still get delayed texts or did they fix the problem? I can't find any info confirming or denying that they've fixed the problem.

    Sprint - I believe they fixed the problem - plus the $70(+$10 for 4g) plan on sprint is pretty good - unlimited data/text/mobile2mobile

    Thanks for the reply. I think that Boost runs on Sprint so does that imply that Boost's system was fixed as well?

    Sprint's network isn't as good as Verizon in general but it all depends on where you live. Sprint's smartphone lineup is already stellar and getting better. Your price will be $87.99 + tax (with TEP). Don't forget to make sure you get a discount. Any credit union member gets 10% off monthly plus waived activation fees. If you work for a large company you should also check to see if they have a better discount than 10%. Their mobile to mobile is different than other carriers. You can call any cell phone on any network (in US) for free. You'll get 450 landline minutes per month (nights and weekends start at 7pm). Unlimited txt and data of course. Not 2g of data like the other carriers.

    I don't think the delays are happening anymore....another plus is that Sprint is supposed to be getting the Iphone 5.....
