  1. OSU vs Detrot LOL
  2. I'll take OSU all day and lay 7 points
  3. idiots... i will take Detroit all day, or texas or whoever.... its not even worth discussing

edit... I meant idiots in the nicest way possible
  4. loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.

    Deal.

    (referring to Platinuments post)

  5. Wouldn't Arizona be the #32 teams? Matt Leinart = invincible. I take AZ easy
  6. ^^^ agreed.
  7. Well if it's Arizona thats another story, lol....Detroit..naaah
  8. stupid argument....closest game woulda been usc vs san francisco last year, but it would be atleast a 2 td victory for 49ers
  9. It would deff be fun to Watch.
  10. it would be very fun

  11. the pro team wins by 35, college athletics is interesting based on allegiances and such. No way this game would be interesting.

They used to do this BTW, the Super Bowl winner would play an all star college team. I tried to google it but didn't find much.
  12. I think everyone tends to think of teams in terms of skill players. In which case, you could say you would take Smith, Ginn, Gonzalex, Pittman vs. Kitna, Williams, Furrey and Jones for Detroit and they line up pretty well. However, the trenches and special teams would be dominated by the NFL team

  13. Well the all stars won a few...

  14. OSU would beat the fuck out of the browns if they played them
  15. yawn...why does this argument always come up. a college team would obviously have NO chance at all. thinking otherwise is just stupid.
  16. Why do people like Dan Dickau always come out of the woodworks when this argument comes up? Obviously a college team is very similar to an NFL team since the coaches have very often coached at both levels and every single NFL player has played several years in college. Reggie Bush is only a few months out of college, yet is starting in the NFL. Why is it that all of a sudden is he is too good for college, yet he was doing great in college just months ago?
  17. because everybody is fucking fast in the NFL not just a RB and less than a handfull of other players on any college team.

I'm sure that every NFL linebacker was thinking last year as they watched Vince Young an Reggie Bush own college, they were thinkin yeah come on fucker you think your fast now.

Most NFL Defensive Ends are faster than most college linebackers
  18. People liked to make this argument a lot when Miami had their teams with 5 first round picks a few years ago and even those teams would lose handily to the worst NFL team. I don't think people always realize how much bigger, faster, stronger NFL players are, even on the Lions or Raiders.
  19. we do people gotta be so damn stupid?

If this was true, then San Fran would cut all their players, and just pick all college players...
  20. lol

  21. i'm confused...what does 'coming out of the woodworks mean'
  22. The 49ers do have all college players... look at the roster.
  23. If you look at the logic of many in college football, an undefeated team should be ranked higher of a team with a loss regardless of who they play. Louisville ranked ahead of Florida or Auburn....give me a break. Should Louisville be ranked ahead of the Dallas Cowboys too?

  24. Shipit is right on here. Some of the top college teams in recent memory have the skill position players to hang w/ a lousy pro team. However, like he said, the difference would be how superior the offensive and defensive lines would be for the pro team.
