1. I'm seeing some things happen in this early NFL season that are interesting ;

Is it me...... or do the Eagles have this arrogance about them that they can start off every game spottin the other team 14 pts .... lol Once is an aberration, twice is a concern. ( for philly fans )

And it might be in the Eagles best interests to get McNabb into surgery, because he doesn't look good physicvally right now. And there next five gms in order are:
San Diego, @ Denver, @ Washington, Dallas, @ NYG ------ ouch

Tampa Bay really doesn't impress me whatsoever. Honestly. They have a GOOD defense. Not great. But good . 3 of their wins have come against the NFC North ......... lmfao Griese looks average at best.

Next weeks NYG/ Dallas will be the game of the week....... and although I think we will be victorious , it'll be one hell of a game...... unlike the Philly/Dallas game this week.

Baltimore looks absolutely hapless right now. Even their defense was gettin run over yesterday..... by Detroit.

Peyton is actually starting to get that "Eli form" going.........

Favre still has a few years left in him from what he's shown me the last two games....... too bad there's no one around him though. Love watching him play.

And last but not least .......
***** NYG are the CURRENT #1 ranked team in the NFC .....

    Who wants a piece?

F the big blue haters .........
  2. agreed
    agreed
    agreed
    i hope it's a blowout. F Dallas
    agreed
not sure what 'eli form' is
hopefully he keeps playing - one of the most fun guys to watch
what rankings are you looking at?

btw, all this posting is making work go by so much faster.
  3. Now , while I could honestly give two shits about the rankings...... we are #1 as there are a couple of 3-1 teams in the NFC. Since we're 3-0 against the NFC and have the most points scored of ANY team ....... we're #1 ......Speaking as if the season ended today and playoffs began tommorrow , no official ranking

** yeah , my work day is becoming less and less work as each week of the NFL passes

  4. I can't wait..... Dallas vs NY should be a great game.... I just hope the same Dallas team that played this week shows up next Sunday :) If so, Eli is in for a LONG day.
  5. Should be a great one ......... just remember Tsupa, Eli doesn't have a sports hernia :)

    Already fiending Sunday ........

  6. you seem to be forgetting Tampa Bay is 4-1.

    F Dallas
  7. Oh shit ........lolololol --- thats right , damn you gambowler . Thats evil bro .

** Well since they couldn't beat Vinny and the Jets , IMO , that knocks them down a peg -- so I'm stickin with NYG #1 team in the NFC !!!!!!!!

  8. hahaha, yeah TB definitely didn't look like the best team in the NFC yesterday.

i think you should hold off on the rankings/standings until next week when the g-women destroy the cowgirls for their first division win. and, as much as i hate to say it, you might actually be alone atop the nfc east next week.

    F the tuck rule
  9. Giants the best team in the NFC??? hmmm....well they beat the Arizona Cardnals(1-4 and suck), the Rams( lost to the Niners thats all that needs to be said), and the homeless Saints(lost 52-3 to Green Bay)....and were blown out by San Diego. I'd have to say they aren't the best team in the NFC...
  10. I'll give this out in advance:

    GIANTS---------------24

    DALLAS---------------10

    ICE....
  11. The only teams the Giants have played this year is the Chargers. And what happened? Dallas wins with ease.
  12. Hey leggo , who's your #1 team in the NFC ?

    Atl ? Carolina ? Philly ? TB ?

I don't think the NYG are such a horrible choice. They play who's on their schedule........ what do you want them to do about playing NO, ARZ, and STL.
    Nothing.....except beat them handely.

  13. Please don't give me the old "well dallas beat this team , who lost to that team "

That argument is flawed. But then the "Dallas wins with ease" comment kind of already confirmed that ......... Thank you , come again .

    NYG 27
    Dallas 14

  14. I dont think the Giants are a horrible choice, but I can't imagine they are the best team. The best team in my opinion is the Atlanta Falcons. I realize they don't have the record of Tampa Bay, NY, or the Skins. But at 3-2, with the last loss coming to the defending Superbowl champions in the final seconds on a field goal...without the help of the star qb, they seem to be the best team this year in the NFC. I think they still have a lot of holes, but I see them going to the super bowl this year.
  15. Few things...

Eagles...not arrogance. First, they aren't stupid enough to think they can spot people 14 points. They look very tired to me, and I think we'll see a different Eagles team, or at least a different defense after the bye. As for McNabb, he should have gotten surgery, we aren't gonna win without a healthy #5.

yesterday was the first Tampa game I didn't see all year, and I agree, I am not impressed. I actually expected a 8-9 win season, but no playoffs. Gries just flat out isn't good enough. If things aren't absolutely perfect around him, things fall apart.

Brett Favre, I think he is done. I began to think so against the Eagles in the 4th and 26 game in the playoffs. Watching him play, I get the feeling that he is like the guy who won a huge amount of money on roulette or whatever and is playing with house money. The throws I see him trying to make are ones that I'm not even sure he could have made in his prime. Between three guys in triple coverage, blind tosses downfield, he seems to gamble week after week at very questionable times. It looks to me like some plays he wnts to try to throw the ball through a defender's chest, out his back and break the WRs fingers trying to make the catch. It doesn't look like he has the nuances of the game mastered like manning, and while he could get away with those things when he was young, they kill him now that he's old.
  16. Fair enough .........

F Vick anyways for screwing over my fantasy team lol

  17. After watching the ATL game, all I could say was, "Damn how good is Matt Schaub going to be"? He's going to become some very valuable trade bait should Atlanta ever need to move up to address a need.
  18. It pains me to say it, but the Falcons are the best team in the NFC right now.

I'd say the Giants are #2, but they haven't beaten anyone worth a shit yet. The Bucs and Panthers look flawed. I think the Eagles have the biggest upside of any team in the NFC, but they've looked rough. I'm not sure WTF is going on with them. One thing is for sure, and that is they have one of the top coaching staffs in the league. They'll make the necessary adjustments.

  19. and the Falcons would be #6 in the AFC.
    1
  20. Don't know about 6, but close.

I think you might want to redirect after the way the Bengals looked....first real competition, and they lost.

    Colts
    Patriots
    everyone else

  21. They lost on the road to a good team. They didn't look that bad and I will take it this early in the season.

At a neutral site I could see the following teams favored over the Falcons: Colts, Pats, Steelers, Chargers, Chiefs and then possibly the Jags, Bengals and even the Broncos.
    1
  22. I agree with Colts/Pats/Steelers/Chargers

I think you're stretching it with the last 4....

  23. I think that Mat Schaub, while a good to very good backup, is just that, a backup. The more you ask from guys like that, the less you get. It's like your backup center in the NBA. The guy tears it up 18-22 minutes a game, gets 10 points and 8 boards a game in his limited time and some team gives the guy a 5 yeard deal. Next thing ya know the same guy is only averaging 13 points and 9 boards a game in 35 minutes. But ya never know, someone gave the Eagles a 2nd rounder for AJ Feely...
  24. It is weird isn't it? I remember reading a Simmons column a while back about QB's. It's one of the most glorified positions in sports, everyone wants to play it as a kid. And yet how is it that we get subjected to guys like Chad Hutchison, Jonathon Quinn, and Danny Wuerful (token Gator shot inserted). In games that feature a stud QB v. a shitty one, when the shitty QB is at home, the fans should get the option to have the stud player be 'all time QB' like you did when you played 3 on 3 but you had 7 guys. It makes total sense I'd much rather see Peyton Manning then Alex Smith in there. God that would make handicapping games insane...
