Minus the weed and the mountains I would bet a lot of people could easily confuse Denver with Mpls. Or MN with CO for that matter. On a whole though, you're right. Colorado is beautiful, progressive and healthy where as half Midwestern states are dumps, minus MN obv.

will do, I am revising it this week for the recent jobs i've had.. thanks for the help..

Jones pass. Right next to Berthoud pass (amazing, popular and accessible back-country skiing area) and berthoud pass is right next to Winter Park, a very popular ski area.Originally Posted by eagleseye13

that place is awesome but there is much much better. -
lol @ scott walker putting WIS in the shitter. is your wife a teacher or public worker?
-
I have read some funny things in OT and I have read some retarded things from scottbrewr but that is by far the most retarded/funniest thing I have ever read in OT...Colorado is in the midwest!! HAHAHAHAHA, confirm that his account is one big level...nobody is that ruhtarded.
-
No wife, not a teacher but does work for UW. ill save the politics for another thread. The job numbers back up that he hasnt created jobs as promised and his environmental cuts along with putting his friends in high paying jobs that shouldnt be there is documented. I hate the fucker I hope he gets recalled. If you want to argue about it see the other Wisc related political threads with me in therm.

Get your resume in pronto! Their bike pub crawl is legendary too. (I rode it once.)

Btw that tent looks like a bear wrecked the far side. You sure thats safe bro? This deserves its on thread!
P.s. the top road pic also looks alot like the road to blackhawks casinos through golden canyon.
Great camping spot there dude!
Reason: ftr Evergreens beautiful but too far for partying in denver. -
FWIW when I went to school at ASU the people I found most similar to those from MI where I am from were from CO, I say the culture of the two is similar.
-
Yeah a majority of my friends at school are from Chicago, Minn, Columbus, and St. Louis. Colorado and Midwest kids tend to get along great from what I've experienced. We're all the type of kids that can get along with anyone in any setting. East Coast kids tend to stick together, same with the Cali kids. Different attitudes coming from them, there are exceptions of course.

Pretty sure wisconsin is closer to Denvers airport then Denver is.

The only thing they would all have in common is meth abuse... -
This is true. Nobody except maybe 2,000 people in colorado consider that as representative of colorado. The other 3 directions are more representative.

The western and southern directions are very southwestern in red rock formations and huge canyons etc.
The west direction is all mountains. Maybe youve heard of them: the Rocky Mountains?
The north direction is what you might expect of mountainous idaho and wyoming. Ft collins is ok but sort of wisonsony cow feeling aside from the mountains and rock formations. Meh. Its a very small section of colorado tho.
The majority of the populated state is mountains and southwestern in nature. They would also be the most visited and pretty and where you would actually go to form your opinion of what colorado means to you.
Granted, sand dunes national park is pretty badass too. Do you have those in the midwest?
Outside of california, theres not a state with as much variety depending on what direction you go.
Anyone that thinks Denver represents anything but a city tucked at the base of all the different directions to go like a direction sign is confused or hasnt been anywhere but denver.
