  5. Onomatopoeia is greater than alliteration.
  6. a lot of times when I come home drunk and high, I go to wikipedia and look up some random article...once I stumbed upon an article on stars which lead me to reading about the milky way, solar system, and the universe...I thought this was incredible:

We live in the milky way, which is 1 of billions of galaxies in the universe. In our milky way there are 300 billion stars. Now stop for a second and think just how huge the milky way is (100 light years in diameter.

In the universe there are an estimated 70 sextillion stars (7x10^22). This means that there are 230 billion times as many stars in the universe as in our milky way.

It just amazes me when I think about how huge the universe is. Another thing that is kinda crazy to me is the question:Is Earth the center of the universe? My answer would certainly be no but if you think about it-the farthest area of the universe that has been seen by the human eye is 13.7 million light years away from Earth. So basically, because light isnt travelling quicker on any side of the Earth, we are indeed the center of the "observable universe." I also find it crazy that stuff our deep space satellites see have actually occured millions of years ago.

  7. Yeah I tohught it was weird when I found out it takes millions of years for that stuff to reach us, a lot of scientists question whether a lot of the stars were burned out thousands of years ago. Do you guys think we will ever inhabit Venus?
  8. I dont know much about Venus but I feel like the universe is WAY too big for there to not be something useful elsewhere

  9. It is the closest planet in our solar system to Earth in terms of atmoshpere, and they say it has water existing in it's atmosphere, which leads them to assume that eventually it will have breathable air.
  10. Remember the first guy to win a million on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. His million dollar question was like how far away is the sun from the earth or some shit like that, and he says he needs to use a lifeline for the first time in the show, and calls his dad up, and then just says "I don't really need your help, I just wanted to let you know I'm about to win a million dollars, because the answer is..." And he was right and wins a million bucks, but my question is this...

How fucking funny would that be if he was wrong just made an ass outta himself on national television and right to his dad. I can just imagine Regis going "I'm sorry you little douche bag, but that's wrong. But hey, atleast you won $32,000. Time for our next fastest finger question."
  11. IMO, that is pretty awesome.
