thru like ~30 holes he is 9 under, 5 under today. no bogeys so far in the tournament
guess he is out early today, so plenty of time for others to catch him...
I don't know shit about this tourney. how tough is the field?
GO TIGER -
leggggggo
saw interview with one of the leaders last night and he said all of the scoring is on the back 9, where tiger started today and raped. i'm sure he'll be passed by a few but it would be so awesome if he can become a contender again on a consistent basis -
Just got one bogie, but playing super solid. Would be nice to bink this and shove it up Steve Williams white...err...nvm

Tiger's last win came in this tourney 2 years ago, so he's got that going for him. Lot of familiar names in this field too if you wanna use that to figure out field toughness

John Daly put 7 balls into the drink on one hole and blew the fuck up

golf channel coverage is starting right now

Can't wait for tiger to come back and rape the golf world.

Maybe Stevie lit a fire under his "black ass" with his comments. Like when guys would try to talk shit to Jordan, and Kobe too and its just that extra spark to motivate them and them basket starts looking real big.

I really liked Adam Scotts albatross yesterday.
-
oohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
He just finished -9 with par on a par 3 leaving the ball on the lip. Afternoon guys going out now but the wind is supposed to make things tough for them.
No matter where he falls at the end of the day it is a good sign for golf. -
Yea, I watched a lot of coverage last night. Course doesnt look tough at all, he's using a 3 iron and his woods off the box (taking the driver out of his hands these days is +ev) Lot of aussies in the field but there are some big names there.

Back nine is def where the scoring is like mentioned in posts above. Overall, his swing looks good. Golf Network picks up a lot of coverage for us at night. -
its a really good field. even the shark is playing! coverage has been starting at 5pm in the west the last few days, and only covered 1 of tiger's holes today, and only about 15 of them yesterday which is pretty annoying, but obviously we'll see plenty of him tomorrow. whats odd are commentators are still talking a lot of shit about tigers swing, but i guess its not uncommon for announcers to pick favorites and cum all over their swing breakdown while criticizing tigers till the cows come home. if he wins this tourney theyll be calling his swing robotic and perfect again im sure. anyways, havent seen tiger hit anything too awful so far, and his scrambling has been vintage. his putting seems really solid and he could actually be about 13 under since he lipped out on his first 3 holes yesterday i think, and missed a 15-20 footer for birdie on the 18th today by half a rotation. anyways, would love to see him win this week just so everyone can shut up about him not having won in 2 years, even though that 2 years only covered 20-25 tournaments which is not even one full season for viijay singh in his prime, and most of those tourneys he played either hurt, or with little to no practice.
john daly is such an unbelievable piece of shit. the guy plays on sponsors exemptions wherever he goes, and just acts like an entitled dickhead while showing mediocre game, a terrible attitude, and the maturity of andy roddick. he tries to drive a par 4, but ends up in the back bunker, then proceeds to hit a practice ball he found in the front bunker by accident and ends up taking a 2 stroke penalty, casually puts out for a triple bogey, then out of protest hits his entire bag of balls into the water on the next hole while trying to pass it off as legitimate golf even though most of his shots end up a good 50 yards short of the green in the center of the fucking pond. for starters, in a game where every hole has marshalls, and fans all over the place, how do none of them let daly know that his ball went into a back bunker, and not a front bunker which is 40 yards away? secondly, how does daly just randomly hit a practice ball from the bunker without finding out if it was his or not? was it completely buried? could all he see was a little bit of white with no logo or ball marking? isnt this why guys mark their fucking ball in the first place. gaaaaaaaawd
john daly should be banned from playing in any tour event until he goes back to q-school or the nationwide tour and earns his card like a man, instead of relying on sponsors exemptions and then complaining about how he 'can't get into a groove because i don't get to play in every tournament, so please give me more sponsors exemptions'. fuck you john daly, fuck you in your stupid ass. take your stupid looking pants, and your circus act attitude somewhere else. -
i dont get the before and after.
-
well I was wrong about him not being able to hold the lead into the clubhouse. Some rando is one back, Jason Day is 2 back, and Bubba Watson is 3 back. Gooooooo El Tigre, save the game of golf in the US!
