tiger woods and steroids?

    Hypothetical question...If information came to light suggesting that tiger had infact used/uses steroids, would this diminish what he has accomplished in your eyes?

    Personally, I would say no. Golf is quite different from the other major sports and while being in the kind of shape tiger is in undoubtedly helps, I dont believe it is a major factor in his performance. In fact, if tiger never lifted a single wieght, I think he would still be dominating the same way he currently is.

    *for the record, I do not believe tiger has used/uses roids, im just curious to see what peoples opinions would be if he did.

    however, steiods wouldn't take away from the fact he has the best short game on tour.

    Tiger hit it the furthest when he was a little skinny black dude weighting 160 pounds wet. And he still hits it a mile today...And i totally agree with durk in that you cannot chemically enhance the best short game on the planet. Deft touch is not bottled or sold in pill form.

    a HUGE part of tiger's game is his mental edge and the enormous intimidation he has over probably everybody ... the fact that the dude is ripped is definitely a factor ... so if it came from steroids it would totally tarnish everything he has accomplished ... the fact that nobody has ever come from behind against him in a major demonstrates his mental edge ... and it's interesting that he's also never come from behind to win
