    not that I have seen a whole lot of Pujols interviews or know much of him off the field, but you have to think it bothers him more than a little to see a premature thread like this.

    al central is maybe the worst division in sports (and is always near the bottom), doesnt mean they were gonna get "smoked in the playoffs." everyone loved the tigers before the a's series.

    And no offense dolphin, but the A's woulda raped the Sox...there's a reason that nobody in the world believed they were going to hang on in the division. The Tigers always had the talent...just wasn't happening for them for most of the season.

    Idk about that. Not saying the white sox were some great team but they led the division for most of the season. They just went cold down the stretch and collapsed, but they had some decent series wins during the year. Like I said, nothing special but sometimes weird shit happens in the postseason.

    When the.White sox won the world series in 05 they barely made it into the playoffs and then lost one game the whole postseason.

    Edit: I'm getting old. Think I'm mixing up seasons. Lol

    best record in al. went to cleveland last series of the year with the division in jeopardy but wild card still available, swept them out of even getting the wild card.

    eff the haters(not implying you dolphin), best team of the century thus far. team was never out of a game. best rotation. best bullpen. was never even a soft spot in the lineup. record in 1 or 2 run games was something totally absurd, like 50-8.

    i don't think anybody was hating on the '05 sox...i was hating on this year's sox team by saying that oakland would have drilled their assholes if they would have hung onto the division.

    i know, no one was even talking about them till dolphin mentioned them. was a pre-emptve eff the haters for when people see that i genuinely have them as the best team of this century thus far. that team doesnt get near enough credit.
