    i almost bumped this with about 40 laps to go. BK was crushing it and led a ton of laps. then he got passed by harvick on a restart and harvick had the thing in the bag. then suddenly some woman (not named danica lol, so she sucks worse than even danica!) screwed up harvick and BK ran him down. BK cruised from there. woohoo way to go brad!

    Nice, I took a look when it was lap 100 and he was like 3 seconds ahead. MBN to have a 100k payday every weekend. So glad my pops spent a milly on his career lolz. Sarcasm obv. Good for him tho. It's nice to see the family business make some cash

    WOW! that was the most unreal finish to a race ever. keselowski running 2nd didn't look like he had a shot but coming to white flag kyle busch was all over the place, spinning in oil and gave up the lead as keselowski spun him in the 2nd turn. keselowski had major tire rub, could barely keep it on the track the last lap. marcos ambrose, best road racer in nascar, somehow kept it on brad's bumper the whole way and got around brad with two turns to go and held on for the win! i'm a huge fan of both so seeing that ass busch get spun and lose and seeing my two favs battle that hard was insane. i can't explain how awesome it was... i'll post a youtube when one is up that was CRAZY!!! back to back 2nds this weekend for brad, too, i think he's gonna win the cup this year.

    They really gotta do something about these restrictor plate races before someone else gets killed. As much as I like seeing 40 cars within 2 seconds of each other front to back, and 4 wide, and anyone has a shot on the last lap, it really is a dangerous way to race.

    I don't know the answer, but maybe make them run 6 cylinders engines at those tracks with no restrictor plate. Spread them out a bit.

    fuckfuckfuck BK was dominating and then ran out of fuel in the lead, didn't look like it cost him a TON but then it took him a sec to refire in the pits... fuck fuck fuck he lost a lot of time. hamlin and johnson nipping at his heels :(

    wow, rarely does 8th feel like a huge win, but after all the wrecks he dodged, BK should feel like a million bucks. plus he finished in front of denny & jimmie, so he's still got a nice lead (+7 JJ +20 hamlin).

    S'GO BRAD!!!! TODAY'S A HUGE DAY!!!!!!! bad starting position back in 33rd at a track where passing is probably as difficult as anywhere on the circuit, maybe second to loudon. should be really interesting. the problem w/ him having a bad race today is that this is by far the best track for BOTH denny and JJ. i can't fuckin wait!!!!!!!

    awesome timing for a caution, he moved up 6 spots but was only a few seconds from being lapped by JJ. pit stop for likely 2 tires moves him up to 17th. looks like it's going to be like every other marty race ever with JJ and gordon and hamlin contending all race long.

    good news for BK so far. after starting way in back and moving up with some pit strategy his car is now pretty fast and he's passing people pretty easily. almost halfway through and he's up to 12th from 33rd starting position. JJ is still doing well but running third. bowyer up to 2nd and hamlin way back in 23rd, not sure what's going on w/ them today.

    welp that's the end of the chase for denny hamlin. electrical issues of some sort messed his car up while he had a great car all day. he's toast.

    WOW that was truly an AWESOME performance by this team. start 33rd, struggle early and nearly get lapped, fight fight fight, make a gamble at the end that coulda paid off for the win, but instead finish a VERY solid 6th and lose the lead to JJ by only two points. coulda been a WAY worse day but these guys really kicked some ass. TIME TO MAKE IT UP NEXT WEEK!! gogogogo #2

    implications are it's bad news bears for BK, i really hope he can win the next two but he's in a tough spot, he's 7 points behind the best in nascar history.

    you get 46 points for winning + 1 pt for leading a lap + 1 point if you lead the most laps. in the last two events jimmie did just that, earning the 48 maximum points (haha ironic he's in the #48 but the system was created last year) both times. brad had a so-so car at marinsville a week ago and managed i believe 6th. this weekend he had prob the 2nd best car, drove a hell of a race, banged it out with jimmie in the final few laps, but couldn't hold on.

    2nd place earns you 42 points, so their best bet is to do all they can to gain max points in the next two races. i think it's highly likely both guys will finish in the top 5 in both of the final races, so it'll be fuckin awesome action at the end of each of these races the next two weeks imo.
