  1. In no particlular order, would not:

    Kobe
    Durant
    Bron
    Wade

pretty much be consensus. I guess some might argue otherwise, but there doesn't seem a clear fifth - at least to me anyway... Hall of Famers like Duncan and the Celtics have the lifetime achievment on lock, but... Oh and Steve Nash has two MVPs. (And wow as I'm watching the Heat how explosive can they be, shit) Anyway, guess I'll go Deron Williams without much conviction, he can play point as a primary scorer and still make everyone a lot better, always thought his supporting cast was overrated although I admit they are really well coached.

I think a lot of people will say Howard, and I agree whenever he becomes a dominant force at the offensive end... although he can certainly dominate any particular game without the arsenal. Paul has the skills but it's hard not to have durability questions. Wall has potential to be but he is super raw right now... Am I forgetting someone obvious, Dirk?

(and no, I'm not getting laid tonight obv)

  2. Dirk is shooting 80% from the field through the first 1.5 games of the season.... and just made his first shot of the 2nd half.

  4. Rondo?

    10/10/24
  5. I'm glad you didn't mention Rondo. Despite his 24 assists tonight, he didn't play a good game.

    edit nvm

he needs to stop looking to make the spectacular play all the time and instead, look to make the smart or safe one more often. he didn't lead the break well tonight and he turned the ball over waay too much

  6. I'm high on Rondo, and if he was a 3pt threat I would put him in there, although he is definitely still in the discussion... but is Rondo > better than Rose right now?

  7. For the Celtics he definitely is, but that doesn't mean he isn't without significant faults.

but then again pretty much everyone has faults
