I get to the Royal York Hotel bus stop around 4:15, I'd rather meet on the street or somewhere really obvious cause if we go to a restaurant I know I will get lost trying to find it, i'm pretty bad like that.

had a great time guys - kinda got lost in the after game crowd so no idea where you crazy fuckers ended up - had to get back to the GO anyways so wouldn't have stayed much longer. Good times.

Okay, since everyone seems to be sleeping it off, I will post my trip report . . .
Pissed at getting out of work late (read: normal time) I hop the Kipling subway and drop Popper a quick call to let him know I am on the way down. Call him again as I get out of Union station (who put all these towers down here?) and find out that Bulldog and TMLMS13 are on opposite sides of the dome. Grab a smog-dog and a pop on the way over the bridge to the dome, and head down to Gate 6, do the random search and find Bulldog, 15 minutes later we are joined by TMLMS, and Hiroshi makes his appearance shortly after that. Unforseen shows and we find out that Popper, Paki, and the g/f are drinking in the hotel . . . bastards (lol). Eventually everyone meets, and I am no longer the oldest, as saxman generously takes the lead in that department. Get tix, get seats (that ramp to the 500s didn't used to be that steep did it?), and most importantly, GET BEERS. Give Popperhead the gears for taking the over on 9.5 for $50.00 as the game starts, and we start making prop bets on individual at bats. Just loonies for the first three innings, Twonies for the middle third, and $5.00 per starting in the seventh. Nothing too complicated (did I mention the beers?), but I still manage to drop the first 5/6 bets. Slowly claw my way back to even during the middle third, but I managed to lose three beers to Unforseen on random non-baseball wagering (beer vendor bet was RIGGED). Won the crowd shot bet with Unforseen to minimize the losses there, and pulled slighly ahead on Popperhead thanks to Lind's second homer of the night. Had a fiver on the line with TMLMS13 that there would be a run scored, and Popper picked Lind to not advance. BOOM goes the dynamite, and Milo picks up a quick 10 spot. A bit more back and forth, and the betting ends with Milo down a whole $10.00 on the night, but the trio who bet the over were drinking beers on their bookie. Not only that, but I managed to take my first "hit" in over 20 years. By the way, who won the game?

Unforseen bets Milo $5 on whether or not the beer vendor will turn left or right when he enters our section. BINK.

Nobody around us can figure out wtf we're all cheering for. Sweet green smoke coming from our section is drawing attention. Security makes several appearances to see what all the excitement is about. Nobody goes to jail.
