I'll take the mulligan w/ our oops vs. Houston but I vow that OK state will be back on this list very soon!

I consider fumbles and tip-popup interceptions to be the "luck" aspect of football. If I think that a team is better than a team that beat it, and it was just unlucky to have a bunch of fumbles and/or INT's off tip-popups I still consider the losing team to be the stronger team in that scenario.
So, that might explain some stuff in my rankings. -
lol at wazzu not atleast cracking the bottom 5
-
yea but we also got dominated on both lines of scrimmage... at least rank UCONN if you are gonna rank Baylor, they owned us
Baylor is right where I thought there were a month ago, around 40-60th in the nation not a ranked caliber team yet... for some reason Briles seems to be holding Griffin back so far this year, it's like he is being told not to run or something, I dunno

Georgia #6 LMAO sorry but no. SEC homer
-
why bring logic into the equation?

If Griffin doesn't start rushing/scrambling more, I agree that Baylor will continue to slide further and further down the list.

Baylor has had pretty far below avg luck so far this season though imho.
I'm gonna give them one more game to see whether or not they belong in the top 25.
We'll see. -
fair enough... 2 cupcakes coming up, so won't tell us much... hopefully we take care of biz bc OU is our first conf game (but then we get ISU)
-
lol at him being anything other than a big 12 homer. tt in top 5 , nebraska ahead of the team it lost to today, and baylor in top 25 is retarded. also, ole miss is looking really good and needs to move up that list.
-
If Baylor plays crappily in their next game against a cupcake, they will be gone with the wind imho.
-
I'm not here to bash you but you have 10 SEC teams in the top 25. Not that the rankings mean shit at this point but just pointing that out. I just hate Georgia and the SEC. You do have some ACC teams up there so I respect it somewhat.
-
I think TCU may end up in this list before season end again. We'll see.
-

Lets give G W Bush one more term and see whether or not hes a good president -
If anything, I actually have even less of a connection to the Big 12 than to the SEC.

The closest resemblence of a connection I have to the SEC is that my dad once went there for a 2 week training program when he was on the swim team. As for the Big 12, however, there's literally nothing. Neither I, nor anyone I closely know has any legit Big 12 connections whatsoever.
I have no connection whatsoever to any conference but the Pac-10. Nothing else. No SEC ties, no Big 10 ties, no Big 12 ties, nothing. Just Pac-10. I am indeed a Pac-10 homer though. -
LOL at ranking UK after todays performence vs UL. They were at home, playing against the worst play caller in history, 1st year stater qb, a no name defence, a team w/ NO kicking game, and still needed a fluke fumble at the end to win it by 4.
-
Uhh... no shit I have 10 SEC teams in my top 25. I used to have ELEVEN SEC teams in my top 25 just the other week.

The SEC by faaaaaaaaaaaar the best conference in the country. They are EXTREMELY strong, top to bottom.
People say the SEC is "overrated". I say they are massively UNDERRATED.
Trust. SEC is fucking amazing at football. This is an unbiased, and truthful opinion. I don't like the actual south eastern portion of the United States in real life btw, rather quite the opposite, I'm just not blind enough to actually think the AP poll is correct in their evaluation of the SEC. The AP/Coaches polls massively underrate the SEC. The truth is, the SEC has seriously like 9 or 10 teams that are top-25 caliber. That's how disgustingly strong they are at football. -
where is penn state? 26?
-
Louisville isn't thaaaat bad of a team tho. Louisville, WVU, UCONN, Cinci are all medium-decent this year it looks like. None are good enough to be in the top 25 from what I've seen, but they aren't exactly complete garbage either.

I did, however, move kentucky DOWN in the rankings though, for performing as badly as they did, if you noticed. -
meh. I guess an 8-4 UGA will be ranked in the top 15 at the end of the year. The SEC just has super human athletes.
-
hmmm, so u did. srry, nvr mind, the truth has spoken.
-
what happened to arizona? maybe make this top 15 next week since its all a joke level anyways
-
I don't know what is a bigger joke SEC defense (see Georgia vs Arkansas) or bfactor's rankings (see #6, 15 and 16).
And also

If they barely eeked out a win by having 902183901231283 times better luck than Arizona (i.e. if Arizona had like 4 lost fumbles, to Iowa's 0 lost fumbles or something like that) then obv I wouldn't rank Iowa. However, if Iowa won convincingly, like, raping us by a lot on the total yardage count, and holding Grigsby to low rushing yardage, then I would be willing to rank them if they won their next few games easily after that, to prove that their first game where they almost lost to a junior high school team was just a fluke/hibernation game for them, and not just evidence that they are inconsisten/terrible like it currently looks like they are.

Arizona lost to Iowa (this was actually surprising to me as I felt we had a pretty decent team put together this year, so, losing to a team as shitty as Iowa almost made me vomit all over the coffee table).

We are going to have to win quite a few games in a row to even come close to sneaking back into the top 25.
And, regardless of whether you disagree with my rankings or whatever, I can assure you they are not intended as a "level". I personally feel that my rankings always have been a considerably more truthful/accurate representation of where the teams really stand amongst each other in terms of relative strength than the AP/Coaches polls have been. -
if you really thought Arizona was going to beat Iowa, youre a moron, not a "level". This was a "load the boat" game at -4.5, and dont let the final score fool you. AZ scored a defensive TD early, and got one in the last minute against the 4th string. It was a pasting.
