Turkoglu for barbosa, happy to get rid of the contract but damn the raps gonna suck next year, oh phoenix sign and trades for childress too.
-
just got it off real gm, raptors fans are going nuts.

The Suns are trading Leandro Barbosa and trade exception to Toronto for Hedo Turkoglu, source confirms too. @paulcoro first reported. -
I check Realgm non stop, have not seen this
-
it's there
toronto fans go from very excited to very upset; they're trading that TPE for diaw. -
What's the word on childress dpottz?
-
5 years 34 and Suns given up 2nd rounder. Think I like this deal if I'm a Suns fan. Hedo could do really well in Phe. and its not like Amare could even spell defense anyway
-
sick deal for the Suns, I fucking hate Hedo because he was so horrendous for the Spurs in '04 but he's an upgrade over Barbosa for sure. The Suns are going to be exciting as hell to watch this year with the Warrick/Childress additions. It's a shame they gave a bunch of money to that piece of garbage Channing Frye.
-
How many forwards do the Suns need? Just added 3 new ones...

According to various reports, the Raptors are on the verge of shipping Hedo Turkoglu to Phoenix for guard Leandro Barbosa and forward Dwayne Jones. The Raptors would then reportedly ship forward Reggie Evans and guard Jose Calderon to the Charlotte Bobcats for forward Boris Diaw and centre Tyson Chandler.

good move for PHX
-
Great trade for Toronto. They get Chandler's huge expiring and 2 solid veterans on reasonable deals.
-
Lopez/Frye/Collins
Turkeyglue/Warrick/Lawal
Hill/Dudley/Clark
Richardson/Childress
Nash/Dragic
might be the best bench in the league but they're seriously talking about turkey at the 4, which might mean we're going to that zone full time
neither barbosa nor diaw have reasonable contracts. more reasonable than turkey or calderon, but nevertheless not reasonable.Originally Posted by geoff7878

i hope the toronto move rejuvenates barbosa, tho. he just was not good last season. hopefully it was just his wrist and he'll be fine now -
It doesn't really matter what position you play when you're on the Suns. You just run a lot and Nash gets you a bunch of easy layups. He's going to make Warrick and Childress twice as good as they were before, and having Hedo and Dragic on the team should help keep Nash rested -- not to mention the Suns just improved what was already the best bench I've seen in the NBA this decade. As long as Suns fans realize they have no chance of competing for a championship, they'll have fun rooting for this team. They'll win a lot of games and score a shitload of points.

the suns should trade jrich or dudley to the celtics
