yeah no shit lol, when I defended the plate I was simply talking about the sear on the salmon, the plating of that is just three scrap pieces of salmon and some kale thrown on a plate, with a badass picture of a dinosaur to get her blood moving

It's funny cause I'm in the ultra minority from my experience of going above and beyond to make the customer happy in my line of work, I'll hop off line and whip up anything I have access to in the midst of chaos if that's what you want, but the first thing that came into my mind was a picture of a T-rex when she said something exciting and I couldnt turn back

and also isnt it about the humor in general not grading him on presentation of his plate? (which obv the lady cut up one of the salmon...)

This is why the rating system is effective. Didn't open this thread yesterday, saw it had a 5 star rating and was like hmmm something gold must have hatched. And it did.

I want to hear the bosses reaction. Some bosses will yell at him about losing a customer and the health ramifications of having a dirty piece of paper go out on a plate. Some bosses will tell you not to do it again, but hang up the picture in the back of the house.

I truly find the lunch ordeal funny. If you have to reimburse for a dinner, so be it as long as you get to keep your job (I'm sure you will).

My question is this:
Did you get to keep the picture? If so, it is hanging on a wall entitled "Awesomeness" somewhere?

Personal Drawings should become mandatory for all special requests.
