    I dont care about the Indians at all, i just find it odd that a team that needs a bat and needs it badly would make this type of move. Maybe it works out, or maybe they are not done yet.

    Reports now on Twitter that the Indians are close to acquiring Ryan Ludwick from the Padres too.

    Wonder if the Sox will keep Quentin/Thornton or sell off. Cleveland is wheeling and dealing. Boston and NYY are coming out of the AL either way.

    I think it would be foolish to deal Quentin seeing how Dunn/Rios haven't been producing and basically only him and Pauly have.

    player to be named is what he will have to be. Would be very very odd to have a top 10 prospect in baseball hanging in balance for a few weeks to make this happen

    Do you just shut him down for 2 weeks? It would be really awkward for Colorado is he got hurt before 8/15 since he's the centerpiece of the deal. It's rare that the centerpiece is the PTBNL. If he got hurt, it's not like they could just replace him with someone else, could they?

    Him having "shoulder sorness" would not shock me come Aug. 14th or so. This is one of the strangest things i have ever seen and i have been around the game for 15 years.
