Is it just me or is this line just too good to be true?

Pondering putting up rent on Kentucky to cover.

  6. This just looks like a "trap game of the week". Kentucky riding high after knocking off top 5 Louisville and Arkansas loses to Alabama yet is giving 7. Kentucky getting a tochdown after last weeks game looks like great value. I see more of a letdown with Arkansas winning 27-17.
  7. Saints will win by 2TD's
  8. K, how about this, if the saints win, I will leave TN and never come back...

But if the titans win, you sir must leave TN and never come back....

    .....deal?

  9. Ark will win by a bunch. If McFadden is healthy he might get 300 rushing yards and 4 TDs
  10. Complete trap game. You don't even have to look at the spread in order to bet on this game. Kentucky coming off a big win vs Ark off a bad loss usually means the the majority of betting public will be on kentucky. Therefore Arkansas will cover. Don't bother looking at any spreads for games like this. Slam dunk.

  11. Kentucky will dominate but I wouldn't throw a dime on it

  12. I don't know if UK will cover but I would all but guarantee they will score more than 17 points. This game should be higher scoring than Ark/Alabama. The Cats will score and Darren McFadden will run over the defense.

I like UK here b/c they rarely turn the ball over. If Arkansas makes 1-2 mistakes and UK continues its offensive dominance we could see another UK upset.
  13. This is a very tough call. Louisville's defense is obv MISERABLE, but Arkansas isn't exactly setting the world on fire. Alabama threw for a bunch of yards on them. That said, Ark would have won had McFadden not gotten hurt. If McFadden is fine, this game is a complete pass for me. If he is hurt, jump all over KY.
  14. lol @ thinking this line is too good to be true. It seems just about right to me. However, for me, this is one of those games where I'll be happy to just sit back and watch. No way am I going anywhere near this game. There are plenty of better alternatives for my money.

Kentucky is ranked for the first time since I can remember, and rightfully so after their win against Louisville. I'm sure they're stoked in Lexington, and the last thing they want to do is lose that ranking that they've worked so hard to get. Andre Woodsen is a bad ass, and I'm sure he'll be ready for this game. Even though everyone in the SEC knows his name, I think he's still an underrated QB in the national perspective.

I still haven't been able to figure Arkansas out this year. I guess I'm still comparing them to the squad that took the West last year, which they clearly aren't. But that loss last weekend has to be killing them. Battling back from an early 21-0 deficit to Bama, to take the lead late in the 4th, only to lose at the very end... heartbreaking. You have to give Bama a lot of credit in that game for not giving up, but for Ark that's a tough loss to bounce back from.

I think this could very well be one of the best games of the weekend (if McFadden is healthy), and I look for it to be a close battle. There are big implications for both of these team's seasons riding on this game. Kentucky is on the edge of an historical season, and competing in the SEC East (how crazy is that?). Arkansas on the other hand needs to show that they have the tenacity to bounce back from a tough loss to get back in the hunt for the West.

Personally, I think Arkansas wins a close game here at home. In the SEC, there is a lot to be said for home field advantage, and if it were in Lexington I might very well side with Kentucky. But, like I said, I'm staying away from this one.
  15. What's the over under? I might do a 6 point teaser and take UK. Kentucky's won about 8 games in a row now, but I'm afraid Arkansas will be able to run the ball at will against us.
  16. Curious what happened with this bet....as that safety may have fked up the cover
lots of time left in the game but I didnt take my own advice and take Ark. I just stayed away from the game totally.

    Edit:
Wow I def thought the safety fked up the cover and might they might trade scores with Ark winning and covering, yikes Kentucky scores twice and now up by 6 and the ball under 2 mins to go.

    Wow
  17. What an ending to that game!

Kentucky winning another big game... might need to keep an eye on them.
  18. I was def impressed by Kentucky tonight. I thought Louisville was just a team overachieving in a rivalry game. I was definitely impressed and am definitely looking forward to them playing the cream of the crop in the SEC. I don't think they can beat the likes of Florida or LSU but they will be more of a threat than I would have ever considered.

The concept of Kentucky in the SEC championship just has me shaking my head but ya never know.
  19. OMG GO CATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
  20. kentucky has a talented team and made a good comeback this evening
